Sinn, Jones and Burton all out injured. Can we give poor Dylan Williams a go just in the off chance he can recapture his form from 2023 when he was better than all of those guys even if they were fit?

Season is shot, what do we have to lose? Even if he's a 1% chance of making it that's still 1% more than ****ing Atkins.

If we decided to have the whole team sit deep he'd probs be fine, but if our back 6 is pushed up the ground, the oppo fwd flankers will leave Williams in their dust when we over-handball it and turn it over.

Put Williams up forward or back, just play the poor boy if he fails he fails
Poor Dylan Williams! How do people come up with this stuff

Lord has gotten single digit disposal numbers and 0 goals for the past three weeks.
Getting destroyed would do Whitlock absolutely nothing for his confidence. You can't just 'chuck him in and see' - it's really not a good strategy.

Lord has been poor, but Whitlock isn't the answer anytime soon.

If the season is a write off as everyone suggests, why would we not get more games into Lord? Key forwards take years to develop, and Lord is only just coming into the window (still quite early) - we would gain more by playing him now than we would from Whitlock.

IN: Boak, BZT, Ratkins (If Sinn is out),
OUT: JHF, Jones, Sinn (if injured)

Few boys lucky to keep their spots, but with 3 forced changes, I don't think it's a good idea to change too much more. Logan Evans, Burton and Lord are the three majorly lucky ones - and 2 play in the area we're having the most issues with in defence, so there's not much else there. We're also likely to see Bergman go back, which may open up the option to drop Burton and bring in a Lorenz or similar.

Freo have the 3 talls in Treacy, Amiss and Voss - and then Jackson drifting forward (and if Darcy plays, even more time up forward) - we need BZT or we will be undersized like we were against the Crows.

Sinn might play, so ill assume he plays

IN: boak, Lorenz, Williams and Atkins
Out: JHF, Jones,Moraes and Sinn

Boak to play a mix of inside mid and wing, Burgoyne to half back

Atkins/williams sub

The difference this year is that we've already had a few of those, and we didn't. It's bye week following, nobody's going to give a toss.
The bye the following week means we get a mini-Kencation (Ken's pulling of the lid of his Sarcophagus closed after the latest debacle ending to a season, only to emerge into the light again just as pre-season starts), of him kept out of all news for two weeks.

If anyone is seen, it'll be Carr forced to front up and say they'll look at things during the bye, ready to bounce back afterwards (which they won't). First up is an away game, so that'll get plastered over, then Melbourne, which we should win to have the latest 'WhErE ARe tHe HinKLEy HAteRs NoW!?', before losing to Koch's team (Sydney) at which point they'll say it's all too late to change now.

The single upside of this shitshow of a year, is with Hinkley's worst H&A season by a fair margin, Koch won't pull another 'Chairman's call' and turn around and keep Hinkley. Honestly if we'd snuck into another prelim. it wouldn't have been a surprise for him to go 'we're delaying the handover a year or two, Ken is SO close and deserves the right to finish the job!.

Rozee back on ball , Burgoyne back to half back, Lorenz in to Burgoyne's wing, Morae's the other wing, Boak back in to middle, Jackson in, if he cant get a game now hes gone.
