He changed his game style considerably. In doing so he made the team better and himself a more fearsome competitor.

Yes, he was and I remember a game against Essendon, in 2017, where he made a game-saving tackle on AMcDTw and wish he could play for us in perpetuity because now feels a bit like the post-Richo period

who knows how long will it take for RFC to be competitive. Lose to North at the G, Just beat the eagles at the G But win over Carlton & the Suns at Marvell was way better than I expected. Lynch just getting concussions a huge bonus. 1.5 goals a game. Not the player he was....
Sims, Faull, Armstrong can play. Sims is good back up.
Campbell killing it, Mansell solid again. Green/MRJ not quite clicking yet. Lefau be handy ~ a week or 2.

Yze replaced D Rioli with Trainor so lost speed there. Banks stepped up. Tommy Gout gout Brown solid enough. replace Broad?

Dow, Hopper, Timmy T, Kmac I & II Ross is solid B grade talent. Lalor can play. Smilie is a couple of years off.

Midfield feels one dimensional Lose Shai, Baker & Graham. We need Alger & Hotton.

We need Clarke up forward not wing. That Jack Higgins is off the chain this year. Slug of a player , no pressure act bullshyte just goals.

MRJ been slightly off. Psycho good half. Run, chase. Be insane to have that every week. we got till 2026.

We will turnover Sonz, Bauer. Gray or Blight Fawcett, etc and use the cap money on a good player or 2.

Should help. we actually have some decent F/S prospects. next couple of drafts.

Appreciate the Jack Kerouacesque stream of consciousness! I’ve liked what I’ve seen of Lalor but couldn’t say I’ve seen more than glimpses from some of the others. Will be interested to see if Campbell can go from a good player in a bad side to a great player in a good side.

Lefau done enough to replace Lynch? Need a monster down there. Young guys are not big enough yet. If Balta was available you would almost swing him forward and play Blight down back, but we don't have that luxury
Lefau looked incredible first game back, played 3Q, sat out the last. Looked fit and strong, had no issues with fitness played forward and pushed up high . Crashed packs, goal assists , typical Lefau game.
Probably another 2-3 , then get him in.

I reckon Koschitzke could be the forward we call up.
Just be there for the contest. He has experience, knows the position, strong enough.
Only caveat would be has he been playing exclusively back in the VFL?
Otherwise Blights a big enough unit to do it.
Lynch has been invaluable providing the contest deep forward.
Eg. That first goal from Sims came from Lynch crashing thru the pack.
lord no

Please NO

Jacob Blight would be my preferred along with Gray
Bring them both into the side and give them a Half each at either end just to see how it goes
This is a development year after all

Bombers will get 20 more frees this week now. Corrupt league much..
brad shite was umpires boss and they are second for frees again this year

the cfl is a massive boys club orgy

Brad Scott so far up cfl arse he had shit still dribbling down his chin
reckon if we had pies, blooze or bummers umpiring we'd be sitting in the 8 easily right now

On Gray and Blight - I don't go to training but my understanding is that while each are versatile, Gray has been training with the defensive group and Blight switched early season to train with foward group. I think Gray is clearly set to be Balta's fill-in for those remaining curfew games. Blight in for Lynch makes sense. We're not bringing in Kosi as a Lynch replacement as, like Gray he has been training with the defensive group. I think there will be 2-3 other changes given the 5 day break. My tip is Alger in for Green (omit), Trezise for Hugo (managed), K Smith for Trainor (sub).

We are going to be missing our two bookends - Balta and Lynch. That's huge. Bigger than people probably believe. Balta allows Flossy and Broad to peel off and intercept. Lynch allows our midfield confidence to kick it long and know, at the very least, he will bring the ball to ground, or clear space for our younger forwards to move into.

So, both are big outs but their absence provides opportunity. I hope Sims and Faull can grasp the opportunity as the main targets with both hands but I'm genuinely fearful that they will bring in Ryan. Not because he may actually kick a few goals but because, if he does, it holds back the other development, especially Sims.

Ryan has missed the last three weeks with injury? I don’t think he’ll be coming straight back.

Norf are always playing out of their skins Richmond game
Their bandwagon supporters pencil in the Richmond game for their one game of the year.
Why alot of Norf fans can't hop quick enough to their grand final game against the Tigers.
We really are their grand final.
Even when we were dominating,Norf would play their little leggies against us.

I was expecting what we saw in the first quarter.
But to come back and nearly win it was a positive for me.

There is absolutely no bloody doubt we are everyone's grand final.

How many bloody times do we have to realise this?

Like it says in my sig.

We are the hunted.

Time to hunt back!

But a positive and a step back from my above comments is that we are a team learning structures this year and how to turn them into wins very soon which will happen.

Watch Essendon run there little leggies off this week.

Now it's up to the hunted Tiger to Hunt back!
North just drew with the reigning premiers, yet we are their grand final 🤣🤣🤣

Pray tell, now we’re average, who’s our grand final??
