He's done a good job at Brentford, been there a while & chance to coach a team in the CL might make him an option & appeal to him.

I think the problem with Ange is he's too stubborn with how he sets his team out, Sarr & Bissouma are just not good enough, imo, in crucial positions. Be interesting to see what happens.
Sarr & Bissouma aren't first choice. Bergvall, Maddison and Kulusevski being injured is the only reason they are playing

Well done to Ange and Spurs. The press conferences have been getting increasingly spicier between him and journalists, very interesting to see what happens from here.

Ange:

“First of all, you’re all campaigners! Now, first question?…”

I mean he won a trophy... But they had an easy ride through the competition they should be in the final. Then they came up a team just as bad as them. Still think he's not up to scratch in the PL anyway

How many managers have a CV like his now?

3 domestic titles on 3 different continents.

A major FIFA confederation trophy.

Spurs first European trophy in 2 generations.

All in a decade…

Seriously, is there anyone else?

The only easy kill in that group is Celtic, which is easy to forget that Rangers had just come off an invincible season and Celtic fans lost their shit at a no mark manager out of Japan being appointed.

He wasn’t the favorite to start the season/tournament for any of the trophies he won first time round.

Spose with that record he's got Pep covered.

Getting close to Ric Charlesworth levels given the reach of football over hockey

Meh… Yes nice result for Ange & the team.

An uninspiring game much like the last 3 decades from the Spurs.

Either an EPL title or Champions Trophy is what measures success for Spurs IMO.

Ah yes....the Celtic team that had won check notes the previous 9 league titles in a row before that one Rangers undefeated season...and have won...lets see....the following 4 since! (13 out of 14)

Truly an underdog story for the ages!
