I watched some of Ange’s earliest matches in his managerial career at South Melbourne, so if anyone was going to beat us I am glad that it was Ange.

Haha, no shame felt. I’ve watched lots of the SAF era successes. It’s also not as if we haven’t won much post SAF either. So I should be content and I am.

Similar to Ange I also am an Aussie with a Greek background and I feel so happy for Ange. I first saw him in 1984 when he first lined up at left back for my team South Melbourne. Got to know him and he is a really genuine guy who just lives and breathes football. So happy for him that he can sit back and say "I told you so".
