If Rowell only wants 2 years it might be better to trade him. The risk is that he wants to go to a club with no draft capital, but the risk of him walking in 2 years into Free Agency is that we would only get a late 1st round pick in compensation.

If we are getting a late 1st round pick it likely means we are doing well on the ladder, as it is usually tied to your position.

Maybe Rowell helped with that, maybe not. But if we are up and about and he still wants to leave for FA, so be it.

Wilkie would be the best pound for pound defender in the AFL. Reckon he is going to blanket King so will need other boys to step up. Especially if King keeps asking for it bombed on his head and not generating leads.

Uwland is the right match up for Owens who has killed us before, so I don't really want him to have to shuffle up to the next tall and end up with Powell on Owens.

I hope we just go the two talls forward, and Walter can help ruck sometimes. I think we look better like that, especially at Marvel, against a team we struggle to beat on the outside traditionally.

But against Marshall maybe Witts genuine needs support.

It seems Dimma prefers 3 talls as per his interview (I believe) before Hawks game. He was not too happy with Long's changed role in 2 talls set up against Dogs.

Dimma also mentioned that 3 talls are basically only 5-6 min together on the ground for the entire game.

So I would expect we play again King, Walter, Read if they are ready to go.
