An Adelaide Crows player has been reported to police after allegedly sending an unauthorised image of a woman to a former teammate.

The Adelaide Football Club has reprimanded the player, describing his conduct as “totally unacceptable”.

It is understood the player, in his 20s, shared an image of a woman to a delisted player, also in his 20s, via Snapchat in January.

What is the actual law? If a person consents to a sexual type image being taken, is it illegal to show others? Is there a context requirement or is it black and white?
