At some stage North just need to stop being shit. Relegation should seriously be a thing.

Unironically would like to see this, but it’d take a lot more money going into the professional development of the state leagues. It’d take decades.

But you could have a 20 team league, then the WAFL, SANFL, NEAFL and VFL state leagues as the second tier.

Bottom two relegated back to whatever league they’re from (Tasmania to VFL), the four state premiers playoff for the two promotional spots.

It’d take decades but maybe in twenty years North won’t be bottom two anymore.

I don’t think the whack on the nose/lip helped tonight (maybe broken). In any case it was a poor game with few possessions and poor DE. Still needs to build his tank and not drift in and out of matches. Just happy to have him on the field with some continuity in matches. Play the long game with this lad.
