Needs to learn to punch rather than mark when behind his opponent.Thought Keane was our best defender today. Stood up well when WC had some momentum in the first half
Fair enough
Berry does deserve the chance to prove himself against a stronger side, though - and he’s usually more of a contested player than an uncontested player, so I’m hopeful he’s turned a bit of a corner
The interesting thing will be to see if his fumbles come back
No injuries is always good. I was referring to that awful first half and the first part of the third quarter. We produce that kind of footy against a good side and the game is already over at half time.I know, it would have been much better if we sustained multiple injuries and lost a home game against the cellar dweller. I’ll chat to Nicks next time I see him. I might even give him a spanking

We made room for both today, I’d preferably play Draper a full game but he still got 11 CBAsNo issues giving him a few more games - can't really learn anything about form in games against the worst team in the league, and it's very clear our midfield is not complete.
I would rather give midfield time to Draper though

What a laugh though at all these ‘keyboard coaches’

4 points + percentage boost + no injuries
Gained everything we needed out of the game, and absolutely nothing more.
Bring on Sydney away. Saturday night, only game on, nationally telecast, expectation on us.
Time to step up and deliver something meaningful.
Id have said strong swirly, mostly across the ground wind from where I was sitting.Strange comment, the commentators said it was very swirly and Keays backed that up.
You know as well as I do he has suffered from Crouch's return. Come on mate. Our uncontested stat has dropped from other players because our mids couldn't feed them with first use. Our main group of 4-5 mids didn't win anywhere near enough ground ball when the midfield badly lost, eg Fremantle
We've already got a better % than mostNot really a % boost, teams were competing with will win by that on average.
Yeah sometimes he gets caught behind and just sort of let's it happen. Looks really bad when he does that. At least put in a symbolic effort or give away a free.Needs to learn to punch rather than mark when behind his opponent.
Strange comment, the commentators said it was very swirly and Keays backed that up.
Bigfooty is the opposite. The bagging of our players. Especially Rob for four hit outs to opposition was terribleCongratulations on a fantastic WINWhat a laugh though at all these ‘keyboard coaches’

Thank you again Facebook!
Looks lost IMO.Bit of an odd game overall. We played like rubbish in the first half but fortunately West Coast are junk as well. Then we had a dominant but wasteful third quarter, before reverting back to average in the last. We walk away with an 11 goal win that feels somehow unearned, but hey, better than a loss I guess.
Hard to pick standout players... doesn't feel like anyone played a complete game. Probably the closest was ROB, albeit he is graded on a curve, but he got a fair bit of the ball, didn't do much wrong with it, and dominated the ruck. Dawson was good but kept missing/wasting opportunities. Laird with some excellent defensive wins and plenty of the ball, but had some awful turnovers. Rachele was invisible for a half before suddenly coming alive in the second, while Thilthorpe was the opposite. Rankine was strong but couldn't finish his work. Peatling scrappy and messy as usual, but good overall. Keane dominant to start with but faded out.
Does anyone know what happened with Taylor? When the commentators mentioned he was subbed out it dawned on me that I hadn't seen him since Q1. Was he just in the wrong spots, or was something wrong?
Looks lost IMO.
Hes a midfielder than doesn't have a spot in our midfield.
The big question is has he played in his natural position? He’s played here and there and as a sub. We really need him to play 7 or 8 in a row to see how good he can be, he might make it, he might not. He's played 62 games. The evidence about how he plays is in
Okay, I’ll give you that. Our first half was lackluster and would have cost us against a better side, but screw it! We won and that was the goal today. 11 goal win is actually good. Just sayingNo injuries is always good. I was referring to that awful first half and the first part of the third quarter. We produce that kind of footy against a good side and the game is already over at half time.
Aside from a putrid shot on goal he really wasn't around it.I didn't even see him on the screen. Not sure if I just missed him, or he just couldn't get around the ball.
Very accurate.Bit of an odd game overall. We played like rubbish in the first half but fortunately West Coast are junk as well. Then we had a dominant but wasteful third quarter, before reverting back to average in the last. We walk away with an 11 goal win that feels somehow unearned, but hey, better than a loss I guess.

Down games from Michalanney, Keays, Fogarty and Cumming. And does anyone know what happened with Taylor? When the commentators mentioned he was subbed out it dawned on me that I hadn't seen him since Q1. Was he just in the wrong spots, or was something wrong?
It happens with a few of our players that when we get so obsessed with playing exclusively down one side of the ground that guys go missing for ages because they're protecting the space on the other side 30-40 metres away. Curtin, Pedlar, Taylor, that's the roles these guys get and they often spend huge periods of the game looking invisible because of it.Bit of an odd game overall. We played like rubbish in the first half but fortunately West Coast are junk as well. Then we had a dominant but wasteful third quarter, before reverting back to average in the last. Without Crouch, it’s his opportunity t cement his spot in the team or show he’s not up to it
