Good, bad, or ugly. Or all three? Fritta has gone to a new level on the hair. He played pretty well today so I say embrace it.
Let's see a foot high pouffe.

53 points, but that felt like a 100-point belting. Dominant from start to finish, and we look a completely different side.

Now please don't mess with this midfield mix.
In traditional Melbourne fashion it was 100+ everywhere but where it counts. Not upset that we could have squared our % because this game style is exactly the type of game plan I can watch and enjoy even if we lose.

At one point the bouffant was a foot tall. Like a dog with his hackles up.

Two game streak for the lucky socks. Only I had to wear them a bit damp an my feet are icicles on the train. Lots of cheerful Melbourne supporters though
May you only ever take them off to avoid gangrene.

That was fun! Even contributions.
Kozz unreal, wish he kicked a couple more.
Trac looking more confident and powerful.
Oliver's best game in yonks
More dynamic in the mids throwing Salem/Rivers/Mcvee etc through there. Gawn very good too.
Really liked Langdon's game. Gave a lot of run both ways and was more dangerous with the ball looking to come inside more often.
Sharp had a great impact as sub.

Well that was an enjoyable win, genuinely pumped them aside from some poor goal kicking, haven’t had a win that dominant at home in a while.

Kosi was just spectacular, just looks by far the best player on the field, had some huge cheers coming to the bench too.

More of those days at the footy please, don’t think we’re back, but I’d rather win than bottom out, draft picks are overrated and you’ll develop younger players better in a side that can win.

Up the dees.

Ugly: The Sydney Swans, would be very happy if they drop off for a while.

For those watching Kayo/Fox, they always couldn't be arsed with interstate anymore, now they can't be arsed in Melbourne. I'm not a 7 defender but i've said it many times, at least they fly out and call games live, fox apparently now can't be bothered with the bare minimum

I ****ing love BT throwing shade here

Looks like you're going to need to wear wet socks every week now.

That's disgraceful from fox. Hope they get dragged this week.

I loved after the game Chandler came up to max for a hug and it was like a father hugging his toddler.

Good …. That’s the standard (apart from goal kicking) they have to maintain. We shall see if they can .
I don't expect to score like that every game but the pressure they've applied certainly helps. To be honest thought it was going to be low scoring in the first quarter but was happy with the intensity.

Good: Getting the win and getting some respect back in the season.
Bad: Windsor's kicking
Ugly: The darn goal kicking inaccuracy turning what should've been a 120 point belting into a 50 point win.

Three weeks in a row where the centre bounce mix has been much more settled, without too many overlapping types.

Would still like to be seeing Langford through there, but to Goodwin's (and his) credit, he's been great on the wing.

We were pinging the ball around by hand with good forward movement as well. Haven't seen us that sharp with handballs in a long, long time. Clarry the connector in a lot of silky chains and our wings and half forwards doing amazing on the boundaries keeping the ball live.

Langford is so impressive, he is getting a serious amount of ball on the wing. I'm already taking him for granted that he'll be at a contest and typically will get a clearance and the kick will be to advantage.

Love the confidence the team played with, Exemplified by Turner.

Melk and Kosi should have had about 3 more each. AJ lacks a lot of polish but is applies great defensive pressure. Roo needs to get to that level to get back in, which is setting a good standard.

Played 8 good quarters in a row now (bar the accuracy) and today we had our intercept marking, pressure, handball movement, clearances and forward 50 pressure back to our best.

Will also not get too carried away and see if we can sustain it through to Kings Birthday, but **** it's much better watching us play when the players play with trust and confidence.

Im happy for Langford to stay outside. The last thing I want is Goody spamming him in centre bounces moving forward and forgetting he has outside tools.

One of Oliver's lowest attendances of the season and played his best game. Take note.

Viney coming back makes me nervous. Can easily see him eating up Rivers CBA's and pushing Kozzy down to 40-50% again.

Yup. Or just freeze Trac out at FF again (lesser of the evils perhaps, but still not ideal).

Unfortunately, one of those things will almost certainly happen. Goody is more likely to resign than repurpose Viney/play him at Casey.

Anyway, not today's problem. I'd just love to see that sort of performance more often, and a more dynamic midfield mix is the first simple step towards that.
