Another Jacob Edwards. Can’t wait to pick some project player with our first pick who will never play a game and then pass on our second pick.
I’m excited!

With Rawlings smugly sitting there saying I can’t believe he was available at our pick. Can’t wait to pick some project player with our first pick who will never play a game and then pass on our second pick.

That’s some Brady 3D chess right there… let’s hope he hasn’t been reading this threadMy 10-year old suggested we pick Charlie Lazzaro … I think he is trolling me …![]()
I hear he just pulls out the wheel. That’s some Brady 3D chess right there… let’s hope he hasn’t been reading this thread
Brady being set up.So May is the most hyped player, along with Harding, yet there’s an assumption he’s going to Collingwood at pick 8.
What’s the go here? Is this an MSD for the ages, or is there unwarranted wind being blown up his arse?
If we let Archie May slide add it to the list of Brady blunders
Would WC take him?If we let Archie May slide add it to the list of Brady blunders
They’re taking McCarthyWould WC take him?
I saw him play a couple of weeks ago.
Didn't impress.
Jack Mayo from same team looks better.
Another KPF.
Teakle was one of the best WAFL players when we drafted him.
Very much hope we bring in 2 picks. Even if it means tough decisions at year end, we need as many rolls of the dice as possible.
Assuming Banch is one of the picks, ready made to compete as a pressuring and linking small forward. The other pick interests me -
Is it more valuable to pick up a half back distributor type to ‘replace’ Daniel or a tall defender to compete with Corr.
On face value, Archer and Goater in my eyes replace Corr and McDonald in the side once fit. Logue has time to build his body back and get good again, K Dawson has been pretty puss and we have Whitlock, is Pink locked in the side? Maybe we have the options there already.
I don’t necessarily trust Ford to replace Daniel, albeit he’s been puss. Ford has been relatively composed at the lower level but I worry about some things he did to get out of trouble, if he’d have that much time to do so in the 1s. I still would be happy to get Donovan Toohey in from Coburg as a distributor (assuming McCarthy is off the board), he’s as reliable a kick as there is in the VFL and could compete with Daniel right away. Duursma is a wildcard but I can’t fathom us playing a defence with Duursma AND FOS in it in the future, so depth will be needed.
I think I’ve settled on Toohey and Banch as my preference.
Key forwards don’t really move me when we have 2 projects and 2 guys who have probably performed better / have more tickers at VFL level already than those presenting as options.
FFS the media already have him going to Collingwood because he barracked for them……..don’t 16-17 other clubs have to just step aside ? HTF is that even a graphic they could put up. With all the other Collingwood talls.

Any Corr replacements..?
Get me a Shannon Watt and Shane Clayton clone.
Ned Long would be playing VFL and behind Phillips for a midfield spotJust a note we could easily have had Ned Long, but we took Geordie Payne….

.I think dermi spreading the wordHappy to stick my neck out here and call it as I say see it.
I do not see a single AFL trait with Archie May. I'm genuinely shocked with the level of press around him leading up to the MSD.

If he makes it, it won't be the first time I've gotten one wrong, but I really don't see an AFL level talent there.

But, but haven’t you seen the YouTube videos? We have to take him or Rawlings gets the sackHappy to stick my neck out here and call it as I say see it.
