I am lowkey excited for this mid-season draft. I need some enjoyment from this season and this is one of them...until they pick Daniel Stewart 2.0, Jed McEntee 2.0 or Brynn Teakle 2.0.

I’m guessing Archer May, Montgomery and Watkins.

Ramm if May is off the board, and Sellwood if either of the other two are off the board.
It won't be Montgomery. Club lost contact with him after he was overlooked last year.

Watkins looks very likely at 11 or 13.

My guess is Ramm at 3.

My guess is McLellan at 13. I only say that because his move from Centrals was unusual and reminds me of the recruitment of Sutcliffe and Goldsack (ie come here, play a bit for the Magpies, have another go at AFL then become a coach).

Archer May never really wanted to leave Richmond’s VFL side. But the key position forward says he had no choice when the Tigers’ AFL side landed an unprecedented haul of first-round draft picks and took a string of talls.
It meant he turned his head to Perth and the WAFL.
His shift to Subiaco is set to pay off big time, with the 198cm target almost certain to be picked up in the mid-season rookie draft on Wednesday night.
May moved to Lions ahead of the 2025 season seeking not only on-field success but the best chance to realise his dream of making it to the AFL.
And the 20-year-old is now on the verge of making that a reality, with North Melbourne, Carlton and Collingwood among the clubs interested in handing the forward a contract.

Port doesn't really need anymore half-back flankers considering Port have links to Sellwood and from what I have gathered, he is also a half-back with intercepting qualities.

I hold no hope that port will excell in this draft when you look at their history in selecting and developing talent.
We are run by charlatons!

I do expect Archer May to land at North. Though considering their past history e.g. choosing Will Phillips over Logan McDonald, anything could happen.

Lockdown defender Oscar Adams, 21, did not play a game in two seasons at the Saints after being the No.51 pick in the 2021 draft, but returned to his junior club Glenelg and was part of their SANFL premiership last year. 198cm.

I'm not even sure any more that they will pick Watkins. Davies was equivocal when asked about the mid-season draft.

"He's one of the guys that we're certainly looking at. And, you know, if it's not in the mid-season draft, then I still think that there's, there's hope for Jack yet, longer term, he's shown that he's a quality SANFL player.”

One of Oscar Adams/Mutaz El Nour/Caleb Lewis/ Harrison Ramm

I like the look of Mani Liddy. Cooper Herbert is also someone that I think can play a mid/fwd role really well and has some height at 189cm. And on the other spectrum in terms of height, was a fan of Jacob Newton last year and think he can still provide something for us. Not a big fan of MacKinlay

I think Watkins is almost a lock and perhaps with our last pick.

Look at us all talking about somewhat logical picks based on needs. Nek minnit we draft Jed Mcentee.

Watkins would be Boak or Mead out surely, otherwise pointless to have in.

I would like to see picks that are long term aswell, it'd give Carr something to work with and I would hope that he has been networking with some of his good fellows behind the scenes. There's one player who I think stands out to me. Just hope Port pick him.

****ing the bays season is such an added benefit.

Getting 2 extra bodies into the Magpies plus a few back from injury and they could be decent too. Especially once Ken's gone
