Yeah it seems like both teams have gone for bigger bodies in the wet. I don't mind it. I see this match almost as a free hit.

Apart from Fyfe coming in, which I don’t agree with, there’s not much else the team can do.

Fyfe shouldn’t be playing AFL level, so obviously trying to protect NOD and get him fit for after the bye. It’s late chance saloon for Nat, as can’t see him playing on after this season.

Would’ve preferred Brodie, but clearly he’s done and not wanted.
Sturt and Walters would be preferred but they’re injured.

Left with McDonald, DeLean, Davies, Carr, Nichols, Jones, Riddle for Peel. None of those are ready.

Game will be won and lost mostly on 3 people
Draper on Walter/king if they kick a back
Freddy and switta on noble and Rioli if they get free reign and tear the middle open we are 0 chance on transition

Themes when we win are bray and Serong dominate and our bottom 6 players play to an afl standard

This is arguably our hardest game remaining this season. It's a free hit. We were given literally zero chance of beating Sydney last year under similar circumstances and came away with the win.

Sucks to lose Dudley but I think we still have enough run.

There are worse things one can do than bring in Darcy vs Witts, absolutely no issue with that at all. Just hope that Darcy is fitter and can run.

We assumed Fyfe would come back through the WAFL, but it's possible that the professional strength and conditioning coaches at Freo know more about Fyfe's strength and conditioning than the fans

Your logic is non sensical. You want speed in a dry game. Going slower in a wet game makes sense. In a wet game you want more contest. There's a difference between speed and size.
Would we want to be smaller? We have no good smalls left to bring in. I'm sure we would have one extra small if we had a good one available.
