Better than statistically bad game with little influence I guess. At least he can get his hands on the footy unlike any second year player we have had in a long time

Disappointing result... But that might have been the most impressive WAFL debut I've seen from a MSD pick in McCarthy. And that's including Hutchinson's 5 goal game.

2nd half was just as awful as the AFL 2nd half last week vs the crows.

McCarthy, Hall and Bazzo all played solid games worthy of AFL consideration.

Jobe, Gross and Grego were solid.



That's it. Disappointing.

McCarthy is exactly what we need in our backline. Straight in, can replace Cole.

Barnett had a couple of good marks that game. Really hope he starts to get some confidence.

Greco looks good when he has it.

Clay just sprays the ball out but hand. Very little to advantage

I am so thoroughly unmoved by Clay Hall as an AFL option, but he’s just had 29 and two, he has to get his return this week surely.

I definitely think I'd prefer McCarthy's kicking and line breaking coming out of our AFL backline than whatever Maric is currently doing.


Get him in.

Feel like Hall is the type of mid we ahve been missing at AFL level, just someone who can win a hard ball and accumulator type. Would have him next up in front of Gross.

Good hit out for Chesser on managed minutes, probably his best WAFL game, team high clearances and tackles.

McCarthy needs to come in next week for Cole and Bazzo to come in for Maric. As expected McCarthy looked a level above WAFL as is the case when we bring in a guy through Mid season draft from another program (make of that what you will).
