They made the Grand Final last year, they are not too bad if they give it their best. They have however underperformed terribly at times this season. I hope Adelaide get the 2025 Sydney, not 2024 Sydney.
No Gulden, no Sydney. Too many players that are very good role players but have 1 of the stars off (especially Gulden) and they aren't good enough to step up. 2023 Gulden found form 2/3 of the way through the year and the role players like Florent and Rowbottom played like all Australian's because they were allowed to just be role players. Last year Gulden and Heeney started the season like superstars which allowed the role players to just play their role so you get good performances out of them.

With no Gulden this exposes Warner's lack of defensive work rate and tendency to show pony which leaves Heeney to have to do too much by himself. Sydney make grand finals because their stars carry them, they lose them because they are too reliant on those stars and have too many role players. A similar team to Adelaide. This year we are seeing the stars play well which means the role players do as well because they can just play to their strengths. This will make you finals but get you found out once you are there.

Great news for us Eagles fans, we can watch Chad Warner play for a team that'll barely win 10 games for the season and we didn't even need to give up three first rounders for the privilege.

When’s he back?

totally playing like a team whose been told "we've been exposed twice in GFs playing the old way; we gotta learn a new way". And they really don't know how.

We got a Russian emigre playing for us in the tennis. Might check that out.

But it really is important to indulge theories about biased umpiring also. I always find them so rational. On here, every game is incompetently handled.
