This game is yet more evidence of the fact that expected scores provides very limited insight without more context of a particular team's performance on the scoring shots. Dees would single handedly bringing down the score expectancy across the board in the past few years. Some teams simply aren't as accurate as others so you can take it as a way to say a team did some things right if they win ES, but not that they would win this type of game more often than not.

More passion in the crowd for 1 solitary Alice Spring game, than a whole year of matches at Engie stadium.

Yep. All we here about 23 was the one sided umpiring in our favour. Even though we had the worst free kick differential for any side in that final series

The advantage/non advantage to Neale was laughable. They talked as if it cost them a goal… ok maybe it was line call but they had brought the ball back he still would have been 60 + metres out and no guarantee of anything.
As compared to the lions goal in the first quarter after it should have been a 50 to cox for entering the protected zone… and worse still the 50 against Markov for trying to obey the umpires stand call.
I’d like a few more.
