Not a fan of adults in guernseys at games but people want to show their allegiances. Polo or a scarf in colder weather is my visual preference.

Until 37 now. I genuinely didn’t even know this was a thing and used to wear one to games until I was about 30 like an absolute flog. Fast forward a decade and I rock up to the Carlton/Collingwood game in 2022 and one of the Carlton knobs I went with is wearing a Carlton guernsey. With my newly found knowledge that this is not acceptable for grown ups I gave him shit the entire day capped off by the result

It’s pretty big in the NFL, got a few Yankee Bengals fans and their guernseys are must wear at games. Seems more acceptable somehow.
