under the context of them not giving up on the season then the changes are good

get the senior core back, try let them cook to maybe make 8th spot

under the context of what most of us think, which is that the season is doomed

then the changes are plain ass
I don’t really agree, in fact I see it in reverse.

You are surely not comparing Sheldrick to Rowbottom's last 80 games where he would've basically been a top 5 player for us in that time ????
No I was showing you that Rowbottoms numbers are what they are.

Also don't understand the relevance of what you said. I could compare Rowbottoms numbers to Bontempellis if I wanted to. Can you please explain?

He’s not running the same midfield.

Sheldrick is sub (as always happens to the player named 5th on the bench), Mills into the mids.

But my god it’s weak selection changes. Sheldrick and Cleary scapegoated for a god awful performance by some of the senior players.

Oh goody can’t wait let’s take Sheldrick out the only bloke bar Heeney that looked okay. Cant wait.

What’s Richmond paying?

One thing I can garner from these changes, I will catch the train there as no way I will be able to sit through this game without multiple beers.

He had 4 handballs in a half thats it.

No matter where your playing thats shocking output

Maybe but here’s an idea we are playing Richmond the season is cooked how about we play him as an inside midfielder

Rough for Cleary but maybe Cox wants him to recalibrate in the 2s to get his production up, alot of unrewarded efforts with the role he plays.
These efforts will get no more rewarded in the twos…..work rate needs to be valued and Cleary has not been down in these areas , regardless of his possessions numbers.

Why the hell are we persisting with Lloyd?
Why weren't we told about Ladhams in the injury report?
Why did he pick Francis? We know he's not good enough, why not give Buller a go?

I worry that Cox, like Horse, has marked his favourites, and will stick with them no matter what. We could be stuffed.

He clearly isn't going to play on ball in the 1s side, evidence of the last 3-4 games

Therefore might as well play him in the 2s

It goes both ways it seems, because I don't really get the point you were trying to make, either LOL.

You compared Rowy & Sheldrick's numbers, but they play different roles, so their numbers aren't really comparable.

You then compared Sheldrick's numbers from the last 3 games to Rowy's from the last 80 games, as though they're comparable at all. In Sheldrick's last 3 games he's been a mildly decent butcher. In Rowy's last 80 games he's been one of our very best players across that span, including finishing on the podium in the B&F twice, including once in a GF year, breaking the club's all-time season tackles record twice, and being a top 10 centre clearance player in the comp last year en route to a Best Clubman award.

So not having a go at you at all, I guess I'm just not sure what you're getting at considering the discussion started with whether Sheldrick should be sub or not.

We have nothing to lose build for next season. Richmond should win anyway.

Least Dattoli should be in next week that’s a positive

Have you seen the reserves play the cupboard is bare

I'm against him being out too but he'll jump straight into the midfield and knowing his standards, have a good block to get his confidence up and touch.

How do we know unless we try. Play Hayward out of the square he’d do better than Francis/Hamling anyway. You won’t know unless you try

Effectively Rowys previous 80 games has a good p value where Sheldrick is still more likely due to chance than predictable.
