It happens every year about this time in the season. Cold, wet, slippery, players picking up injuries, players ranked 28 to 35 regularly playing games.

Im just surprised more shock upset results havent happened, but maybe they are a couple of weeks away.

The shit sandwich they’re munching on comes with a side dish of reality. That reality being that most Tasmanians don’t want the billion dollar stadium deal the AFL have dished up as an ultimatum to get that standalone team.

I wish we'd built a billion dollar indoor stadium here in Canberra, instead of wasting it on a tram to nowhere that nobody asked for. A wasted opportunity there. We managed a 9,000 crowd the other night in poor conditions against a bottom four team, when the Brumbies were playing an SF across town.

The bias across the league makes me feel like I'm trying to decide which team I want to lose more rather than who I'd rather win when I do watch a non Port game.
Probably showing my age here, but in general the players are also very unlikable. Partly comes from the majority coming out of pushy parents and private school academies where they've known nothing but football since 12.

Does anyone actually enjoy watching the Big Freeze slide? I mean I get that it's for a good cause and everything but the costumes and the whole carry on about it just seems so overdone to me. Pretty sure someone has already done the Joker before Peter Daicos today, so it's already gotten to the point where they are re-hashing things. How do they decide which 'celebrities' go down? A lot of them seem to be top athletes that probably have had ice baths regularly for years. I guess I'm a jaded piece of shit but the whole thing just makes me cringe a little bit.

But if it's raising money still then play on, I would just like to see some little tweaks to the concept. Make it a comp to see who can stay in there the longest or something. Make it interesting
