Game that will perfectly proove why tassie needs a roofed stadium but will be used by troglodytes to show why they actually dont need one, the stadium will be half empty, freezing cold, put on a terrible show and no one will travel for the game.

Meanwhile a rooved stadium would be a warm place to escape the cold, create conditions that lead to high scoring and exciting games and would serve as a great weekend getaway for the Vic fans to go and check out the state.
feeling vindicated

Right so the Ben Keays incident from a few years ago late in the game has the same impact if he’d done it in the second quarter?
One moment never “costs” a team a game. Yeah that was shit but you have heaps of moments to win games.

Obviously a non call or bad call can happen and if it’s later it’s more impactful. But Crows lost because they couldn’t convert. Hawthorn were better when it mattered. Third quarter is the premiership quarter for a reason, and an even last.

You can pick and choose multiple calls that weren’t right for both teams (probably) both early and late. Was a shit game for umpiring but in the end the team that was able to convert and be stronger when it mattered, won.

Barrass was huge tonight so I bet it really stung. I still struggle to see why people obsessively death ride a club that dares acquire a want-away player though.

It is probably hard to emphathise for a Geelong fan, as it has been a long time since you've seen the bottom rungs of the ladder. When you're as shit as Eagles are right now, you need to find your entertainment somewhere, and it seems death riding Hawthorn is where they've chosen to get their thrills this season. Particularly Coasters7.

All im saying is that the Hawks seem to benefit a fair bit more than other sides from this “poor umpiring” late in games, and unfortunately for the Crows they seem to cop it a fair bit the other way.

It’s always damning when the whistle goes and you feel like you know which way it’ll go without having seen an obvious infringement.
