Ugly> Nicks selecting Murphy.

Murphy has been a useless selection for two years. Consistently disappears and harIts the very definition of stupid is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

The consistent selection of Murphy has yielded the very same results for a long time. Im not sure what Nicks thinks will change. No evidence has presented itself Murphy is the answer.

Time for Balme to have a man conversation with Maffew.

I wasn't sucked in by the last two weeks form to change my avatar and put Nicks back on "Double secret probation"

Woz, Butts, Curtin, Keays, Berry (especially first half), ROB (mainly first half), Dawson (in patches, mainly first half)

Damn little annoying dumb things, that holding the ball on hinge really annoys me, he’s thinking I’m too good to make it look like I’m trying to get it out, holding the ball and then a 50.
Dawson wanders out of bounds, I don’t need to make it look like I was trying to dispose of it, I’m too good for that!

For all the flack Walker cops on here (and he obviously struggled), Fogarty gets off far too easy.

H2h their stats over the last month would be very similar. One is 35, on his last legs. The other is meant to be in their prime, he needs to be offering us more.

It looks like we are making Walker our main target going into the forward line the last couple of weeks.
And making Fog a role player
It should be the other way around

Butts was outstanding 1 on 1 tonight. Deserves his spot as key def. Imo Keane also plays better when hes in the team.
Worrell's chase down on Watson.
Curtin. Kid keeps improving.
Keays. Gives us 100% every week.
Rob. Was best on for us.

Bad.
ANB. Has been average bar a couple of games. Very underwhelming tonight.
TEX. 3 points no goals and beaten in 1 on 1s too easily.
Smith. Irrelevent.

Ugly.
Murphy.
Selection of Murphy.
Impey his opponent for most of the game destroying us.
Pedler being subbed off.
Our goalkicking. We lost this at selection and our missed chances infront of goal.

Side note.
Murray Davis and Nicks arguing in the box in the last qtr. Not sure what it was about. But it looked heated and Nicks seemed upset. A game we shouldve won, but deserved to lose.

Smith found out for the fraud he is.
Milera kicking long to the boundary when he got the ball, he needs to be more attacking with that kick

It was a shit game to watch
But I thought our intensity was generally good, dropped off a couple of times but got back in it. Stuck tackles more than usual.
Thought we were on top most of the game and should have won.
People said we didnt deserve to beat brisbane - based on that, hawks didnt deserve to beat us. Is this evidence that hawks are no good, or are we both decent?
Last week, and this week, is evidence we're around the mark but lack polish imo, some of which is coaching particularly in close games. But also the players can lack composure. Teach the young ones (or pick them to see), the old ones wont learn.
Forward entries were poor. Kicking at goal was worse. So many half chances missed, far more than the hawks did.
Smith, Murphy added nothing. Any of Edwards/Draper/Dowling were better picks. Given the conditions Tex probably shouldnt have played either but I'm not strongly against it. His 2nd halves though are a problem, getting tired I guess.
Should have won.

Dan Curtin continues to impress. Second half quieter than his 1st but he is building and starting to realise how strong he is and he gets up and down the ground with ease now

And Davis going, NO, we need to keep attacking and get another goal
