Laughable. Hewett is a pretty good talent but he’s not shown any reason that he’s “clear”. Harley will be great but he’s been horrible this year and runs on the board matters.

Who else is there? Archer Reid? Brockman? Ginbey?

Hawthorn have better youth, a better crop of prime aged players and better experience. It’s why they’re a young team contending and West Coast aren’t.

The coin has two sides. Ignoring the other side of the coin doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The FF/FA differential is the best measure of how kissed on the appendage a team is.
Getting the most free kicks in the competition to date is hardly a sign of being unfairly treated though, which was the original comment.

Yeah no. I’m not gambling with some random bloke on the internet.

But Hawthorn will.
Ah, no leg to stand on then.

Not even you have faith in your youth.

Just can’t see who is going to take the step up to elite in the next 2 years before your older players are cooked.

Probably peak at 4th-6th then hover around 8-10th for 4 years after they retire.

No leg to stand on because I’m not actively betting with strangers on the internet. Makes sense 🥴

Older players? Gunston and Impey are the main two, and everyone knows who’s replacing Gunston.

If you can’t see it that’s your problem. Newcombe and Day as the stars in the middle, Ward has had a great year and one of the most improved players, think it was last week they said he’s the #1 rated kick in the comp. Ward/Mackenzie types in the middle will be the next to turn into A Graders, Weddle, Watson etc draft picks still to come.

Still have Lewis (prime age), Meek (26), Dear, MacDonald, Butler. There’s a few highly talented players at BH, like McCabe and Mraz.

Still a quite large group of 24-27 year olds to go with the under 23. A couple above that.

Hawthorn will be in contention now, but also have the youth to sustain a run.

Hawthorn living rent free in West Coast fans heads continues to be a fantastic by-product of last years trade period

It’s just marvellous

They can”t help themselves

PM is just the icing on the cake

I must admit I've never ever understood this whole "If you don't make a bet with me, then you're wrong and I win the argument!!" mentality.

1. Many people don't gamble.
2. Even if they do, they won't gamble with some random unknown stranger.
3. It's a freaking opinion forum, why the need to take it so seriously that you have to gamble actual money on it?

Back on the game, Adelaide simply will NOT be taken seriously as a contender by many, until they take a big scalp interstate.

Collingwood/Hawthorn at the G (or in Tassie), Geelong at GMHBA, Brisbane in Brisbane, even Doggies at Marvel....

Beating up on WCE, North, St Kilda and Carlton at home won't be enough.

A Hawthorn side without Day, Worpel, Scrimshaw, Sicily and possibly one of Dear/Lewis.

Huge win for the Hawks.
