GWS Madden will be everyone's Flex answer next week, even though he has the Rd16 bye he'll be locked in as Flex

As one of the 7 people that had Walsh in my team I'll undo my desperation trades to get to 22/23 premos and do this instead



Leaves me with 10 trades and 2 boosts but only 30k itb. Hopefully now that Brock and Carroll are staying they make enough cash to help finish my team (spoiler: they wont)

Was going to go Moraes to Jackson, but with Moraes dropped is it worth holding him for a better rook?

… Or instead bring back Clay.

I’m debating this currently with the exact same trade.

Could potentially hold for Butler, McCarthy or any of the other recent MSD debutants.

With an impending Bedford tag, I’m considering trading Neale to Butters for no cost.

I was always going to flip a round 16 mid at their bye as I have too many. Always thought it would be WAshcroft but Neale’s price is likely about to plummet with a few tags on the horizon.

If you got the trades, say what 10+, minimum rooks to upgrade on park, then why not?

And today I'm back to something more sensible, I think. Kako to McKercher instead of Roberts to Butters.

Gives me 22 'keepers' with F6 to go (JHF or Darcy). If Roberts doesn't get back in the team, will just go to one of those or Mills next week.

Port vs Dees game is gonna suck without both Gawn and Butters lol.

McKercher is an interesting selection. Had him on my preseason watchlist but role wasn’t there. Haven’t watched much Norf lately, has it changed?

Yep, back at half-back as opposed to wing/half-forward. Was interviewed during the week and said the plan is for him to stay there – small sample size, but averaged 107 or so in the role past year.

Purely role-dependent pick though. If he gets moved, it backfires hard, but trying for some value (even though I don't trust Clarkson).

That’s the role I was interested in. Might switch from Andy to him and grab Andy next week instead
