The problem with O'Keefe's kick is twofold.

1. Fantasia turned away from the play.
2. O'Keefe didn't go for goal himself.

If Fantasia doesn't turn, he's a chance to get/spoil that ball. If O'Keefe goes for goal, he's a chance to kick the goal. The disconnect between the two is what caused the problem; in the twos, Fantasia would've been hitting up. In the ones, he's running back.

... which is to say, that kick is evidence that Power and Voss have the players doing different things.

It's on the club. Wanting to play this way. It's been 4 years of 'we play finals contested bash and crash footy all the time'. Y'know. The style most teams reserve for finals series so as not to get endless injuries and cook their players...

And now the bodies are broken and the minds are fatigued. Absolutely brain dead management. The list has been melted by bash and crash.
