Should I trade McAuliffe early if it means bringing Darcy in?

I definitely look at it. You're ideally trading him to a premo forward at some point. Don't think Darcy will be under 500k much longer

I’ve wasted so many trades on rucks.
Just on Marshall
Traded him in for Meek
Then out for Draper
Then in again for someone & then out again for TDK- and none because he was out injured!

Ahh bugger it. Was very close to trading Gawn to free up funds but I just can’t bring myself to do it.

Now I’m definitely not finishing a team after these trades but ranked 29k, who dafaq am I gonna hurt? Let’s have and bust some heads in T1 !

Rankine has been putrid….Bolton is unpredictable. Rather bounce them and hold big Max. JMart could snap a twig leg but I like his role off HB. Scoring ok with limited TOG but building. Hope he works out.



Next week will be Pou & Butler. 3 LTI trades left but still fielding jmart McCarthy & Butler. Can still pull decent round scores if they give 200+ combined.

This is probably as good as it gets for me to ride out.

If the two rookies put in a reasonable score - you'll be really competitive, as that's a formidable team.

Why do you need to flip Gawn even when he plays one less game than most of the other rucks for the rest of the season.

Gawn is still a good chance to outscore most of the other rucks in total even with one game less.

I think I'm looking at:

Hustler to McCarthy
Prior to S Darcy

Arguably these could wait a week if I play the BE game, but I've got a lot of rookies still to sort out and trades in-hand, so it's best to get on with it I think. I could get a premo mid like Butters, but it really handcuffs me positionally. I've got to get some quality in the forward line.

Next week could look at possible boost to push all the dead rooks together into one vaguely useful player.

Saving Kako for one final week to give myself 22 live players this round.

Next week will likely move on the Essendon rookie trifecta (Johnson, Clarke, Kako) and bring in Butler, another rookie and my final upgraded player.

Haven't loved owning Oliver, despite some fair to good scores as of late. Lost 10k ranking spots in the past 2 weeks, so moving him on for Darcy is a way to try and gain back some ground this week.

for cash, effectively can use the ~150k from Gawn to upgrade rookies to 2 premos
