At least I know not to watch that movie. I assumed the way you post you were a front row holding a big pom Pom kinds supporter- my bad.

Mate I live in Blayney (it’s three hours west of Sydney) and I’ve been to Kardinia Park twice in my life and once was in a January. Just because I love my team - which I do - doesn’t mean I don’t actually have a life outside of watching Geelong kick a ball around.

I care about it but ultimately, really it doesn’t matter. It’s just guys talking online like they would at the pub.

PS. The movie was ok. Not as good as the first two.

Phoned it in when he found out all the white wasn't

Cats could be as low as 6th before they take to the park again on expected results.
Looked flat from 1st bounce, is at an outlier or do you start to wonder how much of a toll the off field distractions are taking.
Absolutely it’s a peasant place . And some off of a social media bitch is too much to take for that shit long

Easiest draw of the top 8 though.
Richmond at home next week.
GWS away
St Kilda home
North
Port
Essendon
Sydney
Richmond

Such a piss draw. Easily can go 8-0 or 7-1 and be top 2

8 Point game and a massive statement whoever wins. Geelong can go 6 points clear of Brisbane in 2nd or go 2 points behind. I believe the Lions have been unlucky in recent weeks with inaccuracy, but I can't envision them failing to win for a 3rd game in a row. Lose however and I'd be worried if I were a lions fan because there have been poor games against North and against Melbourne and losses to Pies, Giants and Adelaide. I believe in Lachie Neale and Brisbane and think they'll be keen to atone for their recent form. Lions win for me. Lose and I'll firmly believe in Geelong but until then I still have Brisbane as the best in the business despite what the ladder suggests.
This. Lions are still the team to beat.

That means nothing. We and Brisbane lost to the hawks in 2023. Where did they finish?
Oh, I get it.

When teams have a good win, it proves they're the best team in the comp, if it supports your opinion.

If teams have some bad losses, we just ignore them, because they don't conform to the narrative.

What was your takeaway from Collingwood's 8 goal win over Brisbane in Brisbane? Let me guess - a lucky night for Collingwood and an uncharacteristically poor performance from Brisbane?
