Alright screw it, making an executive decision.

For the purposes of stamp distribution, a 'complete' team has the following:
  • 22 players averaging 85+
  • One player (can be Flex, F6, D6, M8 or R2) averaging whatever.
You can still post your completed incomplete team in this thread, but expect a barrage of red stamps in reply.

If you didn't start with Xerri, the time to buy was @ $557k in Round 6:

I paid $582,500 the week after. I have few regrets.

For the record, that's the most I paid for a single player all year, including my starting team. Until this week when I"m paying 611k for Grundy. Saying that actually gives me second thoughts...nah fluck it I'm going for it

I should have gotten Xerri ages ago, but RD12 byes prevented me from pulling the trigger

My main issue is starting with that Temptress Sheezel when he had a 170 during preseason instead of Xerri - one wrong call can affect your season so much e.g. easy captain scores and less incline to trade for those weaker rucks like Marshall

Ran the numbers pretty comprehensively on the Mills/Roberts vs Butters/McCarthy (flex) decision (including injury cover), and all McCarthy would need to average for it to be the better option for my team is 65. Willing to take that risk. So my 'complete' team will be this:

All of the sudden, we all have decent covers.

I have 23 players and the following on the bench - DEF Clarke, MID McCarthy, FWD Butler
It was looking rather bleak a few weeks ago

Hewett as a floating M9/F7. Will be able to loop him most weeks once Hayes is dropped when Collingwood get more players back.

No more Cripps 😮

I don’t want to be the only loser with him.

Great team.

Haha, yep. I can't do it anymore (especially with the injuries to Carlton's KPFs - can see him spending even more time ahead of the ball).

Thanks though - not the best year, but the team is not a total disaster.

Ladies and gentleman I present to you, my 'complete' team...

I did last minute trades before last nights game so I couldn't get players in position for the screen shot, I'll put Mills into flex via Holmes once Clarry is back. Or just swap Clarry with Johnson

I can loophole Cripps or Houston with The Great McCarthy

7 trades left, bugger all cash and all of my dignity and sanity gone.

Not the worst team I've 'completed'...

....But not far of it either
