What’s happened is that many of the players think your positioning and game style / awareness is the same whether you’re kicking with the wind or against it

There’s no footy smarts - a quick kick out of the pack in Sandy F50 and a bloke is 5m off his man
Don’t understand to take the heat out of ball movement

Harry DeMattia is the epitome of a list clogger. I can't see anything of value offensively or defensively. He points a lot at stoppages and prances around, but actually does nothing and is more often than not second to the contest or not there at all. Wasting time keeping him on the list.

Iliro Smit.... seriously.... stick to building websites because he plays as though he's never set foot on a foot field - got on an AFL list because of height / athleticism (and building a website), but has no game sense or co-ordination. When drafting big blokes.... ability to position themselves, read the flight of the ball and marking/catchig the ball should be one of the key criteria before we give list spots away.

Howes.... feel for the young man as he's injured, however I don't see it. Slow, concrete hands, reminds me of Billy Morrison.

Markov.... good bloke, but doesn't think too much about what option is best for the team.

Very poor 2nd qtr, no want to claim first possession or defensive pressure.

Stings so much more when you know Logan Morris was taken well after him and most expected us to take Logan

I really wish we had kept Hine around purely for what he specialises in, finding diamonds in the rough in the lower depths of the draft

Well with him going to the devils we know they’ll be a short team as he doesn’t draft any talls unless they are f/s picks.
Today West has been good, in the odd numbered quarters. Cox has done exactly as he should be doing so good.

I think he's ahead of every other back up option as a HB

Problem for him is we already have a back up option in Perryman in the AFL team. Who knows what he'd do if he got an offer elsewhere. But I think his manager would be advising him to take it. He's not going past any of Perryman, Josh, Houston, IQ or Bruzzy any time soon. We're really stacked down back.

So at what point is it apparent that Tom Mitchell isn’t getting back in the seniors? Is it now? He’s played out the last 5 games or so in the VFL now. It’s not managing game time anymore. Surely.

I’m keen to see him back in the seniors but just seems like it’s not gonna happen short of an injury making room for him.

They will. Our midfielders are awful. Mitchell is the only one trying to fight for the ball.

Am I the only one watching the positioning of Harry DeMattia at stoppages??? He constantly stands behind a Sandringham player doing sweet FA!!!! WTF!!!???? Neither offering anything of offensive value or defensive!
