For the first time ever, i didn't renew this year. I was so upset with the way we finished off the season last year, including the way we treated Matt Kennedy (our best clubman winner). I've been a supporter 30 years! The best thing from a supporter point of view is to not renew your membership. Then watch the club demand change. Too many comfortable people at the entire club.
Trademark Patty Cripps you reckon?Led by you know who
Ok then I hope you look forward to the next 3-4 years of 4-6 game winning seasons.

Wright is definitely no MeddiDon't assume Wright is the messiah.
The messiah complex has hurt us every time.
Wright wont be a Messiah, he had dream drafts at the Hawks, an at the Pies he had a lot of guys like Derek Hine to help him and advise him.. He cannot rig the draft either. At best he can tinker at the edges. Just saying. The Priestley and Wright synergy should take the club forward given both their previous approach and successes.

If memory serves in the match that got Bolts sacked, he was completely nullified by an Essendon first gamer...Im not sure that stacks up. Cripps was 2nd in the AFLCA when Bolton was sacked and 2nd in the rising star the year malthouse was sacked. He was rubbish in Teagues last year but also the year before.
I think we should be questioning our core soapy.A lot of people see it this way. I don’t
I believe it can change quickly if done right. It will take some smart tough calls
We have a good core, some real talent coming through.
Get a good game plan and drilled structure in place and things can change very very quickly
Exactly all Collingwood added in McRaes first year was dacios and lipinski.McRae turned it around quickly. Can happen

Who are our good core players and where were they against North and since July last year for that matter- we’ve won 8 games and lost 15.
Crippa is the shell of the record Brownlow winner of last year, along with a few others struggling like Curnow, Saad, Weitering….our core might not be as good as we think or once was.
I wish I shared the same optimism with this group...
From what I've seen, their attitude stinks.
Sure, bring in a new coach, new system... they'll get on board, but it'll just be another sugar hit I'm afraid...
Not having a go at you personally but you'd see a lot of comments like that on Facebook by people playing the look at what a superfan i am card. I'm not saying you are doing that but that's the vibe it gives out after a humiliation like that.Do you enjoy continuing bagging a team you supposedly support? It seems you do
the bigger question is why hasn't anything changed since the Round 1 capitulation to the Tigers....So, the question is "What happens now?" Plenty of supporters seem to know what should or could happen. Clearly the on and off field environment is broken. On field performance is a reflection of off field performance. Will we see the ruthless version? Is Wright the rightman to bring this club to a place where we are respected. We are not respected as a club right now. Aswas mentioned in the media Carlton is feared by no one.
This is my train.Injuries, lack of belief in game plan, been doing same thing for three years without results wears them down.
IMO Voss has pushed them as afar as he can with game plan and they have had enough as it’s not working.
They need a refresh of coaching and system
I still believe we have a lot of ability
The comments about gutting the list are silly. However difficult decisions have to be made. G.W. was the best man available
and he does have a vey impressive resume. He will be having sleepless nights, planning what he wants to do with our list.
TDK leaves, no brainer. One of H or Charlie, my preference is now C.C. be traded as well. Would prefer to keep Walshy,
but he could be shopped around. Trading two, maybe three of our stars, would open up enough cap space to recruit four or
five quality player's. I trust G.W. will take us in the Right direction.
I’m not sure we lost our soul, more so we didn’t adjust to the new world order of equalisation. IMO the big **** up has been not persevering with coaches. In the modern era a club can’t just appoint a new coach who brings in 3 new star players and improve results within 12 months like you could in the 80s. I reckon we were the last club to realise times had changed. Nowadays success is about building a strategy and sticking to it. That means alignment between the key people…President, CeO, Football Manager, List Manager and Coach…something we haven’t come close to achieving because, aside from the President (who at Carlton is effectively appointed by the Board) we keep changing the people in those key positions, especially Coach and E
CEO.
Like most here my weekends revolve around Carlton’s match day.I can't even be bothered

I said it a couple of weeks ago and got laughed at, so I might as well do it again and really bring out the LOL’s.
Charlie Curnow had an ankle reconstruction in the offseason. He also had a screw removed from his knee. This knee being the one he smashed a few years ago and didn’t look like he would play again.
The man is not lazy. His body cannot do what he would like it to do. Sure… you can make an argument he shouldn’t be playing. Go for it.
And to those saying… “yeah but he was lazy and didn’t chase in 2023,” well, where were you in 2023? I can’t remember posts back then accusing him of being lazy (there may have been a small number of posters saying it). The vast majority didn’t accuse him of being lazy in 2023 because when his body is up for it, he isn’t lazy.
Charlie Curnow is not lazy. He is labouring under injury.

And i dont think it would matter which team he played for either.I seem to remember Charlie doing that an awful lot too, but not this year and not for a while too
I think many of us have had to rethink - introduce new activities and diversions, change footy show related habits - find mental health strategies.Like most here my weekends revolve around Carlton’s match day.
Just about Everything stops for this one game each weekend.
even so I turned the tv off around HT …just couldn’t bare to watch the atrocious efforts and system we ‘play’
