The America's would still be lousy. A night time start at 7:00pm would be 5:00am in NY (vs 12:30am now) to 2:00am kick off in LA (vs 10:30pm now)

No, it's because the broadcasters are desperate for a GF in Prime Time, for the TV ratings it achieves (and the advertising dollars it would bring in). Playing it in the afternoon, outside of prime time, doesn't count towards their annual ratings.

There's a good reason why Ch9 loves the NRL GF, while 7 is much more luke-warm about hosting a daytime AFL GF.

Maybe... or maybe the kid has mental health issues that have lead to poor decisions. Either way, it costs nothing to be kind... but cruel words can and do have an impact on those that are already struggling.

Saying he’s being a cry baby for blaming the media when compared to most, he’s actually been protected by the AFL’s accreditation system, is just stating reality. It’s not even close to cruel. I hope he stays clean and has a career commensurate with his talent, but I don’t have to fall for his bullrubbish along the way.

We have a son with a severe intellectual disability, and my wife and I can enjoy comedy shows with some pretty crude humour, involving that exact subject matter. We have the ability to differentiate. It actually makes life easier when you can laugh about hard things.
