Looking at the Essendon injury list and players expected to return soon I’m thinking Clarke and Johnson may have to go.

Not sold on getting May now due to same reason.

Nah Scott has alluded to the fact that guys like Clarke and Johnson will stay in.

May is a bit more questionable as I’m not sure you can play him next to Caddy, Wright and Langford.

Gives me the cover I need across the lines and should mean I won’t have to trade for a few weeks whilst the cows fatten up.

I don't think it's really worth burning 4 trades for 1 Premo at this time of year.

I'm stuck with the standard forward line of Smith/Trac/Helmet/Darcy/Rank/Hall right now, it's the final spot and I've got one move to get it right. Tempted to roll the dice, but I did that last year on a key forward (forget who) and it killed me dead. But every bugger has pretty much the same side this year.

Not sure on trades have thrown this up for now, may skip Serong for Merrett next week which means I can hold Sheldrick for at least another game and avoid going Clarke > Liddy... which as I type this is sounding to be slightly more of a sensible idea.

Anyone considering Dylan Moore as a forward option? Run home looks ok, he's hit form, and they're gunna come out firing. Can get JHF or Warner instead, but can't get up to Macrea/Kennedy.

This would complete my side with 3 trades in hand and ok bench cover across most lines (forwards is a bit iffy but pretty sure everyone's dealing with that), plus I badly need a POD given all teams are lookin' similar.

He's got a hammy issue apparently, as per the injury thread.

Would leave me with 9 trades and a boost. My team would be pretty much finished and all going well wouldn’t have to trade for a few weeks.

But I am leaving towards your logic as well. Would much prefer to have a couple of boosts on the way home for cash leagues. In a precarious position in both.
