Have a feeling it could be Buku again. We don't like doing the same sub multiple weeks in a row, but I don't think as big an issue for a 3rd tall like Buku and has played a lot already this season. I don't think we need the third tall at the SCG when we have Bont, Kennedy and English who will give us marking options inside 50 also at times. Better having more run and then if a tall goes down at either end or need to change things up a bit, have Buku to come in.

Fun fact: Bramble has played in every seniors game since joining the club. Has never been dropped.

Just saw Amarty is out for them as well, so they’re going smaller. So I agree, likely Khamis for sub again.

Apart from one or two cases where a sub came on in the first quarter the previous week and played almost the full game I don't think we have ever made a player sub two weeks in a row. Can anyone think of any such cases?

Norf must be filthy that didn’t orchestrate Bont and Libba's joint 250th against them next week at Marvel. Would have been the closest thing to a block buster they've played in for years.

They could line up trying to intimidate Bont again... while he shrugs off their tactics, laughs at them, and goes on his merry way. Maybe they could even bring Firrito back! Or his cousin, Nick Whatsisname...

• Darcy, Bont and Lobb in full flight
• JJ back to add another weapon in defense and take pressure off Dale
• Hynes growing in confidence

I hope Hynes isn't sub. He's showing good progression and needs to be closer to the action, not further.

Given we have a 5 day break into a 6 day break, I'd hope we're including the conditioning staff in conversations.

There may well be a player who's carried a heavy load, showing signs they might be best managed with a sub role for a week.

Finished watching the last of the match today and also felt Bramble was a solid citizen in this match. Don't feel like he is coming out after that performance. Dolan would be stiff but much more likely on actual output.
