rubbish.

He's 26 this year. Should be an onfield leader. Gets paid big bikkies - wasn't injured, wasn't sick.

Should be called out.
You want to go down that track do you? You could list the whole team who played last night starting with every leader. And dont gimme this injured / sick crap. You cross that line you right to play and expected to perform your role. That performance was utterly disgusting and will lead to Voss's demise and its 110% on the 23 players last night, I hope they slept well.

True more the reason to keep Voss in my opinion. Tail can't keep wagging the dog. It's got to stop somewhere. Back him in, if players don't want to be coached by Voss then ship them out. Get some fresh blood and build alignment between coach and players. We need more players with heart, passion and love for the club. Effort should be unconditional. Current team is summed up by our leaders. Good to see Cripps having a laugh and breaking bread with Aliir after the game. #standbyvoss
Agree with this. Such rubbish that players can continually throw out coaches

IMO that is a cop out - he is being paid several hundred thousand to be the senior coach - he is not a first time coach and should be qualified to do the job properly and if he felt a mentor would be beneficial, he could easily find one without relying on the club - particularly after 4 years at the helm at the club
Bingo. I’m sure he can pick up the phone and have a chat to Leigh and Kenny when needed to talk about things (which I hear he does anyway).

Depends on what is going on behind the scenes and whether there are valid reasons for the players checking out. Something stinks, that's for sure.

I was surprised when the HUN rated the over 30s around the league the other day and decided we would have to think hard about whether Haynes goes on. Unless he is keen to quit, he is absolutely playing good enough footy to continue.

True but why? If we are having a “reset” we need to play Cowan HOF Silvagni Weitering as our defenders

One big issue we have is our defence is too tall

Haynes has been very good but he’s not the future

Where did I say there weren't (many) others last night who failed miserably.

He was AWOL in H1 last week too.

And no, it's far from 110% on the players.... that's laughable.

If the Coach and his cast of 100s can't put up and implement a well structured, coherent game plan that produces results, what does anyone really expect?

We know what’s coming. Hard to feel too sorry for a coach who keeps picking senior players that are well past it.

If we were a serious football club, Cripps, Curnow and Weitering should be moved on ASAP, but we are not so expect them to gang up on the next coach - rinse and repeat.

A lot of players (and coaches) out there last night that wouldn’t be involved in the AFL if they weren’t on our list.

Didn’t get much of it, but Wilson looked comfortable enough at the top level. Positives just about end there.

We’re cooked as long as the midfield is made up of the current crop of slow plodders. It’s fatal and will not be fixed in the next 3 months.

Haynes, Hollands & JSOS are the only positives from this disaster of a season.

People voting for silvagni? Embarrassing, switched off georgiades. Gave away multiple frees to esava. Checked out. Weak and slow last week too. Hes a three year deal max 500 otherwise let him go.
Is that you, SOS Snr?

I imagine like the majority of us Carlton supporters last night was that reality check confirmation that deep down we suspected was going to transpire. Wandering around aimlessly post game I decided to give daddy POTUS a call as I don't think anyone else on this planet is as magnificent or capable of fixing CFC and delivering peace to all the scarred CFC followers.

Such a magnificent, woderful man he is.

Here are a few highlights from the conversation;

  • Going to make a deal with the AFL so Carlton won't be hit so hard on tariffs when over-spending on the soft cap.
  • Membership control - get all the unauthorized, unvetted, non members who attend games ejected. You never know what bad influence these non members could have in damaging the brand. You want to support CFC you do it the right way and get a membership.
  • Fake News - any member of media who spawns made up, imagined, fake, fake, fake news around how good we are or any positives will be asked to be sacked by their employer.
  • No more woke - MC-GA (Make Carlton Great Again) we have to focus on football and not woke agendas
  • Pay off our deficits - we've done well in recent years but sending in someone like Elon to come in and make our spending more efficient and our contract offers.
Finally at the end of the call he asked if we were enriching coach killers, uncaring, weak minded players, board incompetance, poor coaching at Princes Park. So I told him "spot on"......... couple of magnificent B-2's with excellent pilots are on their way.

Magnificent man he is. Together with GW who he says "there is no harder worker in the AFL", he'll #MC-GA!

F the players.
If they don’t like the coach they can leave.
Tail has been wagging the dog for 3 decades now.
Enough…..get rid of the players if they can’t handle the coach, bad luck.
I’d take another rebuild if it meant getting the shit out of the club.
This could work.
Back Vossy in with his game plan.
I reckon we open negotiations with Melbourne Storm. We've been looking at the wrong type of players.
They break too easily.
