Most situations but he was literally running into a wall of players if he didn’t spin
If he has time to spin, he can handball to the ground.

Spinning is a clear signal to the umpire that the player decided to take the tackle on and failed, so they're basically obligated to pay HTB in that scenario.

Problem with the Crows is they don't have a good track record against the top teams away from home, and the only top team they beat was Brisbane which was at Adelaide and they barely got over the line due to Brisbane kicking nothing but behinds in the last.
Could see them making a PF.
Probably lose the away QF to 2nd or 1st, win their home SF, then lose the PF

Exactly. It’s unlucky because Smith didn’t do a lot wrong, but the question is always, did he have a chance to dispose of the ball, which he definitely did.

Were the Crows duped by a 50m pen vs hawks a few weeks back that led to a goal kinf of or is that bs? I missed the game. Curious as they were robbed vs gold Coast early on.

There was a 50/50 one right on the siren that might have put us in range for a shot but I think only the most one eyed Crows fan would have argued we were robbed.

Having some Jhye Clark regret there? ;)

Seriously though, North Melbourne could've done with a player like him instead of Duursma.

Well the 22 draft was probably correct.

21 sonsie owens soligo windhager

23 Mckercher on point. Probably could have justified Curtin. In hindsight. Logan Morris and Garcia and Freija

24 Draper, Langford, Reid

Paul Curtis was a good pick up

I was saying nobody will acknowledge his lack of form until Kane or Kingy highlight it. He isn’t a mid and he isn’t kicking goals so what is he?

Oh would you look at that, how convenient:

Interesting

Kingy has put Rankine in the firing line twice in the last few weeks. And for good reason - we need to see him break a game open and not just roll the legs over.

Rankine with his disappearing act in the 3rd quarter.

Rankine barely a touch since half time with the easiest match up. Form is very concerning. Just drifts out of games for long periods.
Talk about obsessed. You need to let go.
