Would love to try a different mix with upcoming games against North, Essendon and West Coast including Garcia at high half forward and Poulter before settling on a run for finals

My only unforced change would be Garcia for Buku. Don’t think we’ll give him 3 weeks as sub without a full game. Although we do have the of advantage of VFL the following day this week

McNeil out for Garcia. Buku to play and ruck forward, give Tim a break if he plays.

Left field is to bring in smith and play him forward/ ruck in the Buku role?. Garcia plays. Libba get a break either sub or rested.

I've been against resting Libba but this does seem like a perfect oppurtunity with tough games against the Crows & Lions the following weeks.

It would be a good oppurtunity for Garcia to come in as a direct replacement and play some midfield minutes. I'd also like to see Sanders at a few more centre bounces against North.

I'd like to give Buku a full game. I know it means structuring up a little differently but I like the idea of the extra tall on the ground that can cover both ends. We look a little small up forward when Darcy has to ruck & spend time on the bench which is a good 12-15 minutes a quarter.

Better off playing Smith over Gardy vs Xerri,

He doesn't mark much nor go forward to hurt you like a Gawn type just uses his size at stoppage which Smith would be more effective at negating then Gards

Gards also doesn't really offer much up forward if needed as well

We have already cast him out of bulk CBA's to a more forgiving half back role. Unfortunately time waits for no man, hopefully we can squeeze another 12-24 months out of him.

But who said Libba needs a rest. Based on? The output of Bont, Richards, Libba and Kennedy was all down on Friday night.
