Is Yze an asset or a problem?

I’m genuinely trying to give him the benefit of the doubt so I’m no hater of Yze at all, but our offence and midfield are just so inept. Last time our forward line was this bad was in the early 60s. Midfield is so slow too, and he’s choosing this midfield. I can’t help but wonder whether there are better coaches that could get our side to perform better.

Hard question to answer IMO with all the injuries that occur, but I’m no longer 100% on the Yze train like I was a few weeks ago. I’m starting to have my doubts

I’ll crack it if we extend his contract before well into next year.

The effort by Ross and Hopper in the middle to try and stop Curtain reflected their intensity.

There is not a coach going round who would be changing these results. Where a bottom side and have 3 wins. Realistically 1-2 more than expected

Watching us take a mark on half forward and then take 30 seconds to deliver it into our forward line over and over again in which time crows could set up did my farken head in today. Slow and predictable

Ross was good a need to play inside mid more. Seems to actually have more time on the ball than Taranto and particularly Hopper who blind snap it forward too often.

We desperately need to start throwing Campbell, MRJ, Mansell, Banks, etc into the middle. Anyone will a little bit of toe and dynamism.

When Prestia and Hopper have 29 and 28 touches and we still get absolutely belted out of the middle that just sums up what's wrong at the club right now.

Also Lynch with only 2 touches today, better off playing Sims or Fawcett for their 4 touches each.

Both generally useless disposers. Prestia getting worse each week this time around.

InIn regards to your question, how many players are currently playing who were part of the Dimma era? Let Yze continue to build the list and go from there. These few seasons will always be difficult.
