Put the cue in the rack for the final term, but after that 8 goal 3rd quarter masterclass I'll cope.
With the players missing and 2 or 3 others who played sore and were close to missing, can forgive that. Nice to at least find a goal very late.

We probably need to win 3 more games, maybe 4 to make top 2. Managing players is going to be a big key for the rest of the year. If we win our next 3 we can really switch to management mode. With some tough matches, that would be awesome, so think we'd attack the Suns and Dockers games hard.

So Fly says 6 or 7 players played under an injury cloud, including Lipinski.

We are toying with the competition right now.

Mitchell back and fittest he has ever been could be huge.

Finals playing spots are going to be really competitive with a healthy list.

Great to see the fringe players every week taking their opportunity.

Interesting period coming up. Remember heavy training loads toward the end of the 2023 season for finals preparation had us lose games badly. Let’s see what we do now. Depth should get us through.

We certainly didn't play like it, especially Lippa.

In a defensive set up which has over the last 5 weeks never conceded more that 74 points in an entire game, are you really going to suggest that IQ is a weak element.
One sideways kick was diabolical.
Maybe.
But why would you highlight it, rather than everything else he does in preventing the opposition from scoring?

This.

I caught myself bemoaning that sideways kick.

It has become too easy to take this team's awesomeness for granted.

We brought Parker on to give Jezza a rest, then we rested the whole team in the last quarter.
Yes, extremely perceptive post. And this is why we need to hold our selectors in such respect. They have been dealing with factors that of course no one outside had any clue about.
Parker's selection was about supporting Jem Howe, and then the instruction to play calm in the final quarter and risk neither injury nor useless exhaustion.

That 3rd qtr was one of the most beautiful things I've seen. More seagulls than Blues supporters at the G in the last qtr.

Nick Daicos šŸ˜˜šŸ‘Œ Billy. Dan. Titch : Welcome back. Steele, great debut.

And now for Finey's Final Siren on the drive home. He's offered to do overtime.

Great win. Third quarter was sublime, there was nothing surer the 4th was going to be a let down but understandable.

Even better was all the whinging from Carlton supporters around me regarding their players.

Curnow is lazy, doesn’t chase.
TDK no effort, he can go to the Saints.
Cerra, cant hit a target.
Motlop, why the **** is he playing.

Was great to hear/see .
