Protection is sometimes for all actions, and other times for kills only though too
Righto. You’ve played a fair number of games.

Under usual circumstances, if a doctor protects someone but also gets killed, does their protect go through?

Yep.

It's a gamble either way given no other information from good. I'm just not sure about Headless  He's a bit of a loose unit with his posting lol.

People randomly jumping on like eth just did now stands out.
I’m not sure about headless but I reckon he might just be doing headless stuff.

Who would be a type that might recruit Zerg? I would think headless less likely than most for Vamp or whatever the hell that role is - but that is likely why MWPP pointed at his being a head rather than a solo baddie

As I said this morning, I don't work in front of a computer. I get 2/3 short breaks a day. It's hard to catch up on everything in 15 minutes.

I'm a villager. You guys are drawing the same conclusions from last game where I was again, a villager.

JHF isn't melting or very active like when he was a Villager in the past. I'm also still not convinced re MBR but happy to be wrong.

I was suss on Bfew and then he died a Wolf so there's that!
He ignored my post yesterday too and that really stood out . I even typed out a message to call it out last night but then I saw another post of his and I did wonder if he had a good role since he asked for suggestions (but granted that could easily have been a PM slip). I haven’t seen him be a power town role yet - only evil or plain villager. There is a definite shift in activity compared to other games.

This feels out of place. Every time the thinking drifts to vamps someone else comes in over the top with the what about zombies rhetoric.
Why is it out of place when we don’t know what type of recruit we are dealing with? And it’s not really one or the other. If anything there has been more discussion today of vampire mechanics than zombie mechanics

Mm. But your avatar tells a different story.😉

The other thing with headless is that in the game he so helpfully linked , he made this post pre game (but didn’t follow through and instead was very quiet)

He seems the type to quietly follow through years later especially in a game like this (especially as he pointed to that game so would remember that remark more than me)

If doc protected someone else other than them- yes

If it’s a self protect and evil try the RB /kill combo - it varies game to game

This is great sleuthing, MWPP!

Back to Gralin. He was an outed recruit and going to die sometime. His preference would surely be an evil win?

So Zerg claims Gral seered village (which, as fake seer would make him not a villager).

I see three possibilities:

1. Zerg was being helpful to villagers by pointing out Gral as evil
2. Zerg was assuming that nobody would believe him, so was trying to direct a lynch away from Gral
3. I’ve not thought this through properly and it’s all bonkers

Heh, that's because he got Poisoner :p his team mates would have told him to shut up lol

There's a decent chance Zerg hadn't looked at Gral at all and was just trying to shitstir.

I wouldn't take Zergs info as proof of Gralin's guilt or innocence.

Looking back at a few of JHFs posts yesterday they do claim to be village aligned - so while his last post may have looked like a potential PM slip, I'm wondering if they didn't have the time to keep up with yesterday's chat and was hoping to pick up a few hints with their overnight action/s

So option 3. Yeah.

Mind you, Gral always goes weird if evil and under pressure so poking him a bit does no harm.

We saw last week that villager Gralin kept calling for AI & Gif happy evil Bfew to be taken out, and I've played a few recent games where Bfew has definitely been happy to share his creative side - not sure we really saw that this game, so did Gralin lay down a few ground rules in the PM about no AI creativity?
