So Stinkley gets smashed next week he will be embarassed so the team will play emotionally ....and probably win

And from there every chance to not win another this year as Stinkley thinks the showdown is just another game and the players then have nothing to get up for.

Georgiades had 9 shots on goal for 3.5 the most by any player in this round. 10 score involvements which is equal 4th this round. Took 5 marks inside 50 the most and equal with Thilthorpe.

He could kick 80 goals in a season if he kicked straight and didn't drop chest marks. Could Kick a ton in a season if he fixed those 2 things and kept improving.

Hugely underrated, he is a star forward. Still making a few basic errors but is taking to the role of being the main man in the forward line.

Get Scott Hodges out there with him in the pre-season to work on his set shot goal kicking.

Josh isn't precious like Ken, so we should see some new faces helping out with technical issues.

We're a nowhere club and nowhere team at the moment. That was a terrible performance all round with all sorts of glaring concerns. Especially the ease at which WC transitioned despite our clearance dominance. The Crows would've put up 80 on us in the 1st half alone playing like that.

I don't know where the hope for the future is at all right now regardless of the coaching situation.

We have wasted 2 decades and some generational players and I have no idea when we'll be a chance again. Could be another 5-6 years at least.

We will lose the next 3 games, and I expect at least 2 of them will be by significant margins.

If we had no JHF Butters and Georgiades we would legitimately be at 2011-2012 levels

Richards is a breath of fresh air as a small that exceeds in the wet similar to butters which we havent had since r gray. Similarly with Wines just wins the in and under bull like ground balls which the eagles severly lacked

People were giving shit to Moraes for his lack of impact as sub when he had one kick/one goal when all the hype for lorenz netted him 1 handball and 1 tackle in 21% game time. Literally forgot he was our sub

Lord justifying my pregame post that he is utterly useless. Let his man come off him and come third in against georgiades/luko. When he was actually in a decent position would continually spoil his own man (saw it happen to sweet maybe 3-4 times)

Thought Liddy was okay. Some good ball use

Pre season pretty much anyone with footy IQ knew that Luko is a lead and mark type player N Riewoldt style yet we bomb it to his head when hes not built for that. Didnt help that Lords defender always came in to help

I watched him pretty closely after QTR time. I've always liked him and at his best he's a good AFL forward but you just can't let such a half assed effort stand. Zero defensive run or pressure on the ball carrier. If he's injured he shouldn't be playing. If he's out of condition and that's what's stopping him getting involved he probably shouldn't be playing again. Holding EVERYONE to a high standard is how you build a team that can challenge for a flag.

Well actually they do - some players need a whack while others need a cuddle - but not in terms of such an obvious lack of fitness.

I worry that he won't fix his finishing and given his lack of desire to give it off he might just never hit the heights we need.

Ran both ways worked hard all night. Sure his finishing at goal could of been better, he is a small forward paid to have shots on goal hes allowed to be selfish. Bet if his name was Chad Wingard or Robbie Gray youd take that stat line every day of the week. For a small half forward/Forward pocket thats an immense game and will probably get him a brownlow vote on the night behind butters and jhf.

The thing with Richards and Georgi is they worked so hard to make play happen, that would have an impact on their finishing skills.

At the ground Richards was probably our hardest runner, and Georgi looked stuffed when he dropped those easy marks late in the game.

Watched the game muted after learning that it was Brereton and Ricciutto on commentary.

Just tried to watch the replay of the last twenty minutes with the volume on. 6 times I heard Brereton either call for a free to be paid against us or have a cheap dig at JHF (ducking x1, fists to the neck of the Eagles player x1) or Butters. Called us bad winners.

Hmmm, wonder what he was calling the Hawks last year.

Brereton hates us more than any commentator I can remember. It’s blatant. Marty Leslie must have really got to him in that State game. Only reason I can think of why he hates us so much. Just an awful, barracking commentator.
