Im ok with the selections.
0 surprises with the Kelly and Ryan for Long and Champion, they were very predictable.
Petch in is odd, but thats fine. I wouldve expected Gross or Long to get that last spot but I dont mind seeing Petch be the sub or something and get a last chance.
Gross isnt even an emg so he wont play this week, but he should be 100% to end the year strong in the wafl at least.

He has been fading over the last few weeks and probably explains why he has spent some time on the half forward line. He hadn't played much footy prior to this year so just worn down I'm guessing.

Everyone getting upset about kids missing/resting/rotating, just chill. Everyone has been given a taste this year. Only three players on our list haven't played a game yet (Grego, Livingstone, Newton).

Agree, it's like some people want all seniors out and all youth in; and running around like headless chickens with no leadership? Coach mentioned he had talks with Grego that he may miss out this season, but Grego's fine with that. Also said Grego will be around for a long time. Gross will get more game time soon it looks like.
Newton is the one I was hoping to see as a speedy mid/forward. This from his last Wafl game - 'Jacob split his time between forward and mid. He played with a real combative nature which stood out in the tough conditions. He showcased his physicality around the contest, with strong tackling and powerful running. His booming left foot also helped generate forward opportunities..'
Might see him before season's end, although we have a stacked deck of forward/mid types, he has to be better than Owies?

I don't hear much Sumich content here in Vic, mostly know that he's bitter from what people post on here. But hearing that, he has a genuine hatred of the club, hasn't he? He's making up things to get angry over and works himself up into a frenzy over it.

I think over 50 games deserves a send off game when you are on the bottom of the table and fighting for nothing but a win

We are playing 17 of our 24 with under 100 games. Having a handful of senior players in the team isn't "we've gotta win this let's bring in senior guys".
