Needs to spend the off season with his dad getting lots of pointers. His inability to crumb at pace and kick to a player on the lead without over shooting is a concern.

I'm not a fan of motlop but I don't think he - or any of our small forwards can be judged fairly on their small forward craft when they are really playing as HFF running defensive patterns all game.

He does have issues crumbing and passing outside of the f50 as well though, so it’s something he needs lots of work on.

They’re a slow contested side who want to force opposition down the line & narrow the ground as much as possible, but rule changes have sped & opened the game up too much for it to work. Same as us
