I recall they had an un-released training/pre-season with OG anchor design a couple of seasons ago. Had the inverse white version also.

This was super interesting because the chevrons started out as a training jumper in 2010 before we changed to them for the 2011 season, I wonder if changing back to this version of the anchor has been genuinely considered.

The early chevrons look quite different now as they started a lot higher up the shoulder than what was eventually used in 2011. Plus the positioning of the front logos is pretty weird.

The red variant was super nice:

Correct, I was hoping for something else but still the candy is pretty sweet. Just odd that it was announced as a third kit this year and yeah only worn once.
Yeah I thought that was odd too, was expecting it to be a full-time white clash kit.

Nah, they were just protos but we decided to go with a 25 year anniversary Guernsey last year instead

We also made the white anchor on purple

As part of their rebrand, surely the suns could’ve made a jumper specifically for the q-clash? Or they should just wear their clash strip for all q-clash matches because it’d be better than the bears jumper v red. The suns this year have only worn their clash against Brisbane and GWS, where it’s really no less of a clash then if they just wore red with white shorts.

From a marketing pov I dont see the point of the never surrender kit, when the brand for the rest of the year is the orange tsunami. For a team still building the fan base there can be such confusion, that the never surrender causes more then it gains.

I think they need to focus on the orange and make the charcoal the secondary. Considering they use the "orange tsunami" in branding, on match day, etc.

Home - Orange, charcoal shorts, white or charcoal g.
Clash - white shorts OR Never Surrender

The half colour kit currently is confusing and hard to "clash matchup"

I agree but I’m not really sure what the alternative is. They need a grey clash kit when playing the Swans so it does make sense to market it that way.

I personally dont see a clash kit with the swans when using their normal home kit.

If they had to I think they'd be bettreplaced off going all out with the orange clash, or atleast colour in the g.

Cats wearing their regional guernsey again this week.
Did they get rid of the country game? It was alright for a few years but I don’t think they did anything for it during covid it’s really meant nothing since they brought it back in 2022. Ironic that the country game was never even played in Geelong, all three times Geelong hosted it was at the G.
