I couldn't believe Maynard was the one who ended up with the free kick.
Yes I know it was for deliberate but his action was after that so should have been reversed.
Just imagine the uproar if Lynch did that?Horrible action, Reid was already heading over the boundary but Maynard gives him a shove (which had the potential to cause serious injury). I think he gets a week, minimum.

Well McGovern copped a week for pushing someone into a chair over the boundary a few years back so there is already a precedent.Just imagine the uproar if Lynch did that?
Surely Maynard should at least pay for the monitor.......
Such a cowardly move too! the ball is no longer in the play, the victim is unbalanced and blindsided. Hardly surprising the biggest dog in the afl is the culprit and even less surprising is he isn't even cited for itCoaching my junior team on the weekend and the same thing happened. It is one of my pet hates - pushing/bumping players from behind at the boundary is a weak and dangerous act. We had a kid break his wrist from the same action a few years back. It shouldn't have to result in injury in order for the action to be penalised. The whole point is to prevent injury by sanctioning players so others less likely to do it.
Any excuse, no matter how trivial, to vilify Maynard over a very minor incident. Talking about dogs, the 2 biggest in Pickett and May play for your own club. Hopefully one of them gets his right whack tonight.Such a cowardly move too! the ball is no longer in the play, the victim is unbalanced and blindsided. Everything that germ does is minor to you lot, he's a dog and always will beAny excuse, no matter how trivial, to vilify Maynard over a very minor incident. Talking about dogs, the 2 biggest in Pickett and May play for your own club. Hopefully one of them gets his right whack tonight.
This exactly. Imagine if someone did this to Naicos? There would be a royal commission into it.I was surprised more wasn't made of this incident. Players should not be flying through monitors on the boundary line, in typical fashion we will look back at this incident when a player has a serious injury next time.
Not very proactive by the AFL here.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate the credibility of your opinion at about minus 12. In other words I couldn’t give a flying what you think. As I said, the 2 biggest thugs are wearing red and blue.Everything that germ does is minor to you lot, he's a dog and always will be

AwwwwwwEverything that germ does is minor to you lot, he's a dog and always will be
Yep, next time it happens and someone does get injured, not just a monitor, the AFL will mount that high and almighty horse and scream from the rooftops it's not a football action and it's something we don't want to see in our 'great' game.I was surprised more wasn't made of this incident. I suppose you think Darcy Moore didn't do anything wrong either...Any excuse, no matter how trivial, to vilify Maynard over a very minor incident. Talking about dogs, the 2 biggest in Pickett and May play for your own club. Hopefully one of them gets his right whack tonight.
