Tbh, at 3/4q time I said I would be going mid way through the last.
But then I just couldn’t.
My observations after this game:-
- NAS officially the most valuable player in the comp
- Max Hall is a natural midfielder and needs to stay there
- Windy is better than just a tagger, wasted in that role
- Hasn't had the greatest year but don't write off Hilly yet

I think we broke our own record. Our comeback against the Swans when Plugger went berserk was the previous last quarter record. But that might've been after three quarter time because from memory the Swans kicked the first goal of the last quarter.

There's been larger comebacks in general, but this is the largest as at 3/4 time specifically.
Don’t resile from it at all. The game StKilda played in first 3 quarters was putrid. Lyon only made significant moves in the middle when we needed an AFL record last quarter to comeback to win. We had 8 seconds spare. A freakish last quarter does to excuse 3 quarters of very poor coaching. And the moves he made were too late (except by a miracle they weren’t).
Lyon is in superannuation phase. He is just loading his super at this stage.

You’re right, they’ve actually laughed it off incredibly well and acknowledged Nas as the GOAT. The only negative about the comeback is that I wish it was against Carlton.

I think you'll find the saints were 8 goals down in the last quarter after Sydney kicked the first two of the last quarter in that match. But at three quarter time we weren't as far behind as the Bris game you mentioned. I remember reading it some time ago. Don't think that record of ours has been beaten since.
