I wasn't going to drink today after drinking too much yesterday but I just went down to the bottle shop to get more bourbon.

It's not often you have a win with a comeback like that so I couldn't just celebrate it with a hangover and another strong coffee.

St Kilda make you want to drink one way or the other, either to drown your sorrows after another loss or celebrate a great win.

If I need to buy a new liver I should ask them to pay for it but they probably couldn't afford it paying Nas 2 million bucks a year.

Yeah I'm with you man. I don't even know how to rate him. Like who do you compare him to??? Some say McLeod but he has more forward chops. Some say Winmar but he is a bit taller and a definitely a better defender than Windy. I reckon he's got a bit of Bont about him for sure. Also, and I know this is weird, but like Jason Gram if he was given super powers and Robert Harvey's shimmy
Crazy part is he isn't close to his ceiling

When we play high risk football, we look amazing. When we kick it down the line to a forward who is both undersized and outnumbered, we look putrid. This is still a young team, and week by week we are seeing a changing of the guard where it is players like Hall, Windhager, and Nas who are standing up and driving the team forward. Hopefully that continues, and we transition away from the boring style, and see more of the good stuff

That was unbelievable. So so good!
However… and I know I’m going to get howled down, but did anyone read anything into Nas’s reaction and interview post match? The interview with Dicko was awkward. He didn’t seem happy, rather, he seemed uncomfortable. Maybe I’m wrong, but I fear he’s gone. Still got to enjoy the win, don’t get me wrong. But for me it’s bitter sweet.
You’re forgetting the powers of Tony74.

There would have to be significant players at this point. No amount of draft capital gets it done.

This is exactly right and why it is one of the more fascinating player movement decisions of the decade so far.

We wouldn't take 3 FR today for him, his price has tripled since the start of the year - and they don't have players (from either side) that move the needle.

Also, Max Hall adds the equivalent of a top 10 picks to this team. I've always seen him as potentially a Dylan Moore type, but he's got a much higher ceiling than that. He's looking like peak Jack Steven at the moment
