Jacob Blight 196cm 23 years old ( best on ground every 2nd week in the VFL , Kids not getting a decent chance)
Tyler Young 196cm 26 years old ( came back from a knee but good for a few years)

Have you watched any Richmond VFL games ?
Miller is having a great year and hardly gets goals kicked on him
Balta when he is in is another level to Kosi
Broad & Vlastuin dont think i need to say anything
Trainor is getting games as he is the future

Richmond has had injuries to upto 18 players at times this season with only 2-3 afl players available to play VFL but are 8th mainly due to Kosi & Blight

Priority needs come first and it's at the other end surely Al.

If he joined, add to Logue/Chom/Corr/Pink/ W Dawson/ Whitlock.

All contracted next year and with the possible exception of Whitlock have no forward craft.

Meanwhile, down the other end, Larkey and Maley.

I wouldn’t mind Lever at the right price. The fact that he's contracted and we have two early picks in the 2nd round means Dees would be unlikely to budge unless we gave one of those picks up, which would laughable with how the Daniel deal has played out so far. Also questions about his ability to stay on the park. Not sure what better options would be available..

the better option is playing WDawson, Comben and Pink.

That should be our starting KPD.

We have Logue until 27 so he will be coverage playing in the VFL, perhaps he can learn to actually give a shit down there.
Corr likely to still be on the list.

So what are we getting Lever for? We potentially have 5 players on our list to play KPD (6 if we count Matlock and people wanting him to play there too)

Lever wouldn't tip the scales in a meaningful way.

I hope this story is just media fluff. If it isn't I have no idea what we are trying to do. We say this need senior players line a lot I am starting to think maybe we don't, maybe we just keep putting younger players who can go at it (Comben, WDawson) let them settle and take charge.

I don't want another merc. I don't want anymore players who are coming to us with the idea that they can log half shifts every game and collect decent sized cheques for pointing.

F*** that.

Which senior player have we got in that has moved the needle one iota? Do people really think that Jake Lever is going to be the one who triggers us to rise? I certainly do not.
