Yeh agreed, although to me Williams and Nas are one and the same. He can overrule his manager, hes choosing not to (which is absolutely the right decision IMO) and given the boom on his dollar figure has been proven right.

Also think we should just do 2m for 2 years and personally id be suprised if we refuse to match if thats what Port and co have upped the offer to.

From what I’ve been told, Nas isn’t fussed with this stuff. He isn’t sweating how this gets done.

I’m not for one second saying he will go to the PSD/ND.

He is OOC, there is no path to SA without a trade.

So, I completely agree we won’t get full value for Nas.

But I’m very comfortable in saying 2xtop 10 picks + a future or later first is FAIR.

How either club gets that ^^^ is on them. If either club acts like their fanbases and says: Bergman Butters Draper Curtin etc etc are all off the table.

Then a deal can’t be done. That’s part of having to trade for an OOC player, you need to give to get. It isn’t, well all they can offer us is a half eaten snickers and a 2027 first rounder so bad luck.

If either club wants him they can stump up basically all of the picks GC are holding this year, who mind you do not actually need them and need to get rid of them.

Losing Nas would be utterly devastating but having Picks 5, 8, 11, 15, 18 (if Ro/Steele goes) is at least the foundations of a rebuild. Just would have wished it was in a stronger draft.

But apparently Nas and his family weren’t impressed as being offered the world.

Thats fine but Nas is still following his advice.

I think its a difference in philosophy about management, Nas is listening to and doing what his manager recommends. To me they represent the same entity and bagging Williams (who Nas listens to clearly) doesnt make any difference
