Who are we ‘shanking’?Thursday, and gameday again!
I don't care how ugly or how little we win by, I just want to win this game. If we could win by a shanked point after the siren off a free kick (ha ha, as if we'd ever get that!), it would still be a good result. Let's GO GIANTS!!

And it's not really a change for the umps to be biased against us, nor biased for Dogs, is it?Why do I get the constant nagging feeling that this game might be influenced by the AFL's desire to keep a 9-team race for the finals as long as possible??
No, it's more the vigilance on ducking, lowering the body and throwing which the Dogs are notorious for.And it's not really a change for the umps to be biased against us, nor biased for Dogs, is it?

It's the one aspect where Toby's absence might be helpful. Umps seem to have it in for him.And it's not really a change for the umps to be biased against us, nor biased for Dogs, is it?
Think it will have be Rowston as the sub. McMullin will be needed to fill Kelly's role on the wing.I'm curious to see who's named sub tonight, with McMullin and Rowston the two likely options. I hope Toby gets a start but understand if they choose Harry as the 'gruntier' option against the stacked Bulldogs midfield.
Indeed, Toby's absence might also save him from a greater display of red mist, and a worse outcome! It's the one aspect where Toby's absence might be helpful. Umps seem to have it in for him.
There was a lot of stuff about us at the start, it's been going for an hour. But definitely seems a lot more on the dogs the closer we get to the start. So is this entire pre game show just going to be about the Bulldogs?
What happened to the runner?
