If hawks win dewy will be in here gloating. Doesn't matter. Going into this game it ain't 50-50.

Lose tonight and they have to hope hawks finish the season poorly. The dogs will make it.
Collingwood never beat Hawthorn twice during the H&A seasonLose tonight and they have to hope hawks finish the season poorly.
No margin for error.
Atleast I know I’ll have free rent in your head if I ever been homelessIf hawks win dewy will be in here gloating. Doesn't matter. Going into this game it ain't 50-50.

Wow some dude put 50K on the Hawks to miss the 8
Might be pretty smart tbh
No one really knows tbh.Lose to Adelaide, Brisbane and Collingwood and Hawthorn = 9th. Dogs are a lock for at least 14-9 and their % is far superior. GWS have North and St Kilda so they should be a lock for 15 wins. Fremantle have Carlton at home, with some tricky games of Port away, Brisbane home and Dogs away so they could potentially go 1-3 from that and finish on 14-9, though unlikely, surely they will be at least 15-8.

13 wins has never missed the finals in the AFL era. Crazy.Hawthorn could knock off one of the top 3 and still miss finals on 15 wins! Given Dogs will start favourites in all 3 of their games and Freo will be favourites in both their home games and against 11th placed Port.
Quite crazy when 15 wins is normally top 4 and could earn you 9th this season. I remember back in '09, Hawthorn played Essendon in the final round, where the winner got 8th. Hawthorn had won just 9 games for the year! Very possible Hawthorn and Brisbane could play off for a spot in the final round (Doggies vs Freo too) where 15 is not enough!
Carlton missed with 14 wins (top 6) in 1992.13 wins has never missed the finals in the AFL era. Crazy.
I’ll rephrase. 13 wins have never missed finals under the top 8 system. Essendon 2013 doesn’t countCarlton missed with 14 wins (top 6) in 1992.
Essendon missed with 14 wins (top 8, but special circumstances) in 2013
Your rephrased version stands up to analysis.I’ll rephrase. 13 wins have never missed finals under the top 8 system. Essendon 2013 doesn’t count
We now have gather round and 23 rounds. 2013 had 22 rounds.I’ll rephrase. 13 wins have never missed finals under the top 8 system. Essendon 2013 doesn’t count
Collingwood had 52 points last year. That’s the equivalent of 13 wins13 wins has never missed the finals in the AFL era. Crazy.
GWS has entered the chat, particularly with the damage today’s massacre did to their percentage.

We are obviously the favourites to miss and easily have the toughest draw out of teams expected to finish 5th-9th.The Hawks tumble down the ladder begins
It's very much open who misses out. Hawthorn should win one and are probably better than evens to win one of their other two games. If it comes to percentage, you have an edge on Fremantle or GWS.We are obviously the favourites to miss and easily have the toughest draw out of teams expected to finish 5th-9th.
Need to win 2 games and need Gws to lose 1 more or Freo to lose 2 same with the Dogs.
