I haven’t been following the build up to this game, but Curnow and Cerra out surely leaves them zero chance.. right?
By my reckoning they are missing 8-10 of their first choice players. Rain or no rain, bogey team or not we should really be belting them. I think it will play out similarly to the Port game which we won by 50.

Please let the first half be like this one for once

and then continue on with it

"Need a safe word carlton"

Haha

I was pissed off though Andy didnt get a rising star Nom after this game 20 disposals and a goal.

Hunter Clark for St Kilda won it this round just 17 disposals against Gold Coast.

Fyfe in his prime was not only my favourite Docker ever but also the best in my view.

Pav of course could be argued easily and was obviously a better kick.

The thing about Nat Fyfe was his pure unadulterated ball winning ability, better than Dusty or Danger.

Great memories of watching him with my daughters, Fyfe vs two opposition opponents and us all saying, “watch this, they dont stand a chance” and then chuckle with awe as he extracted and won yet another contested ball. We would literally laugh out loud with joy.

The absolute best ones were when it was three on one and they actually theoretically had a chance…and he would still win it.

Poor old Lachy Neale getting rag dolled by the champ in the goal square. Hilarious.

Pav was great but its Nat Fyfe for mine. Just do much joy, a true champ.

If Fyfe can take confidence from the wafl game and actually kick the ball at afl level next week he can come straight in for Ras.
If he decides that his legs don’t work and just wants to handball he should pack it up and just play at peel for the rest of the year and call it a day

I know what you're saying about Fyfe and his ball winning. But, the observation to be valid must be qualified:
1. Fyfe himself acknowledged that his ball winning was enhanced by the coaching and 'self-sacrificial' defensive efforts/set-ups around him. His brilliance was buffed up.
2. His ball winning capacity involved costly bash and crash which impacted his longevity.

If you are choosing your first pick in the best ever Freo side I don't think anyone could credibly maintain that they would want 244 games of Nat Fyfe before 353 games of Mat Pavlich. 244 of games of each...now there's a debate! 353 games of each...even better.
