He is contracted and Pies are not interested in trading him
has to be an offer too good to refuse

No wayMarshall is worth at least as much as Cameron.
I watch a lot of it.Do you watch football?
This year yes, Cameron has been very good.No way
Cameron is up there with Gawn this year
If what you say was true the eagles would be going after Marshall as he would be easier to extract
Well you are trying to buy this years Cameron and not last yearsThis year yes, Cameron has been very good.
Before this year Marshall was so far ahead you wouldnt even mention them in the same conversation
Marshall hasn't gotten any worse.Well you are trying to buy this years Cameron and not last years
You do realise Cameron was in the AA squad in 2024 and 2nd in the Collingwood B&F.This year yes, Cameron has been very good.
Before this year Marshall was so far ahead you wouldnt even mention them in the same conversation
No chance they are comparable in trade valueMarshall hasn't gotten any worse.
Theyre still very comparable in value.
Marshall is far more proven over a few years
ShhhYou do realise Cameron was in the AA squad in 2024 and 2nd in the Collingwood B&F.
But you say you watch football?
If, as you say, Marshall doesn’t take marks around the ground like Cameron (Cameron is one of the highest contested marking players in the game), because he is more of an ‘extra’ midfielder, then why does he average fewer disposals, effective disposals, clearances, hitout wins, hitout to advantage, clearances etc than Cameron?I watch a lot of it.
Sounds a lot like you dont.
Not a single ruckman in the comp works harder than Marshall, hes more of your extra midfielder than an intercept marking ruckman like Cameron.
Marshall shouldve won an AA by now, but as he plays for the saints he gets ignored
Marshall has had many games with another ruckman alongside him.If, as you say, Marshall doesn’t take marks around the ground like Cameron (Cameron is one of the highest contested marking players in the game), because he is more of an ‘extra’ midfielder, then why does he average fewer disposals, effective disposals, clearances, hitout wins, hitout to advantage, clearances etc than Cameron?
I’d rather Ned Reeves. At least he can win hitouts and has a high level of hitouts to advantage.
Rubbish. You’re just embarrassing yourself.Marshall has had many games with another ruckman alongside him.
You haven't watched Marshall, thats all you had to say
Not sure what you’re talking about. Marshall is the same age as Cameron. This is in relation to West Coast giving pick 14 to St Kilda, Marshall to Collingwood and Cameron to West Coast.
Or, the St Kilda guy suggesting a late 1st round + 2nd round from West Coast for Marshall.
And also, the West Coast have plenty of cap space and are in dire need quality players with experience and leadership. You don’t bring that in, you end up like North. Add tot hat they are in dire need of a ruckman to help their young midfielders, so would be crazy to not look at Cameron.
they really need to get a proper Ruck thoughThat's stupid. Wce are not going to play finals in the time Cameron has left. What they need to do is draft better than they have and build for the future. Cameron doesn't do that at all.
they really need to get a proper Ruck though
They have 2 terrible players rotating in the Ruck that should be playing VFL / WAFFL
Williams & Flynn are stealing a salary on an AFL list
Eagles have about 4 young rucks on their list but 3 are delist material with only Archer Reid looking like a good prospectOf course they do but they need a younger ruck not a 30yo.
Marshall's 20th currently for score involvements in the AFL(could push into the top 10 again by the end of today). If, as you say, Marshall doesn’t take marks around the ground like Cameron (Cameron is one of the highest contested marking players in the game), because he is more of an ‘extra’ midfielder, then why does he average fewer disposals, effective disposals, clearances, hitout wins, hitout to advantage, clearances etc than Cameron?
I’d rather Ned Reeves. At least he can win hitouts and has a high level of hitouts to advantage.
RubbishMarshall was better than Cameron the past 2 years but because apparently the Collingwood B&F is some 'sacred' trophy in the AFL, Cameron somehow gets more clout for it.
Cameron's marginally better this year but it's not very far apart.
I do.Rubbish
Cameron's last 2 years have been 2nd only to Gawn and has nothing to do with pies B & F
You just need to watch games to see that
Cameron is a bloody good foward when played thereI do.
He's good around the ground, decent in the ruck and good at intercept marking.
Doesn't have much impact on forward plays after the initial stoppage but that appears to be more due to coaching and game plan than anything else.
He's a very good ruckman but it's hardly daylight between him and Marshall currently.
Marshall just plays in a shit side with a B-grade midfield. He'd look much better in a top team.
Depends how much of a stink he kicks up being underpaid, as well as if the rumoured others exploring other options, thus enabling him to get paid, I guess.Cameron is a bloody good foward when played there
He played foward earlier in his career when playing WAFFL and has done stints at Sydney and Collingwood when required and playing 2nd ruck at times.
Whilst Rucking his role is more to intercept mark in defence rather than run foward due to their game style and personal
Both Marshall & Cameron available you take Cameron every day of the week and that why he will cost the eagles plenty if he is traded.
But do the eagles really want to trade the currency required for a 3-4 year Ruckman and it will cost min the Hawks pick plus something.
Has nothing to do with it as he is contractedDepends how much of a stink he kicks up being underpaid, as well as if the rumoured others exploring other options, thus enabling him to get paid, I guess.
Collingwood are entitled to hold him to his contract, he signed it after all and if they ask for too much, then I imagine WCE will pass and wait until next year when we can pick him up OOC for minimum chips.
Collingwood being rumoured to be into Neeves, whilst already having Camron, may indicate something is in the works already.
Reeves won't be wanting to move, just to play in the 2s.
